Gall Force:Genesis
Chapter One
Catty sat at a terminal, monitoring the planet's temperature, atmosphere and cloud conditions.
The android effortlessly typed away at the keyboard as she pulled up old logs...old bits of
data and looked at each one. After a few minutes....she shut each window down and typed in
more commands. Up popped old records and days old data. She glanced at them and made note
of them to. Like her sisters she did this without exerting herself. Unlike the others, who
were usually reserved and kept to themselves....this one had a small smile on her face. She
LIKED working....liked learning and toiling away endlessly at her current post. To her,
monitoring the planet was quite interesting.
But the people who she worked with were far more interesting than this seemingly lifeless ball
of rock that orbits a class M star. They were all reasonable sorts, with varying opinions and
ideas. She liked them all....she loved to talk to them and listen to what they had to say.
There were a few that she looked up to...as much as she looked up to her late 'Mother', Catty
Nova Nebulart.
Catty softly began humming a tune that was popular on Marsus. As she did so the installations
sensors picked up some activity in the atmosphere. An alert monitor winked on an off and a
klaxon horn sounded. Catty blinked at the sound, sighed at the fact that the peace had been
shattered then turned to the blinking monitor to see what was the matter. She blinked at the
inf on the screen, thought about it for a moment, then shut down the klaxon once when a
seargent barged into the room.
