I cannot believe I thought of NOT doing a Harbingers in the Fountain tag. (Shouldn't it be under the fountain, by the way?)

The episode was ah-mazing. There were so many good moments, I couldn't really choose which one to write from - but then I thought of this.

It's really hard to write Caroline because her humour is strange to describe (though brilliant), but I tried. I wrote this really quick and it's unbeta-ed; also, I'm not native English, which accounts for any mistakes.

Anyhow, please tell me what you think!

Unbelievable.

Caroline shook her head disbelievingly as she watched the scene in front of her. Yeah, she knew it was wrong to eavesdrop, but who cared if it was so much fun?

And this particular scene in front of her was just so... entertaining. As well as slightly painful.

Caroline was aware of Booth's problems with his memories, even if he tried to hide it with his usual jokes.

She was also aware of the high tension running between the two, and she'd been amazed that those two hadn't jumped each other alright. Love is blind, but the neighbours aren't, she thought, a metaphor that was definitely applicable in this situation. Two blind pigeons would be able to see the love from a mile's distance.

What on earth possessed Booth to add his damned 'atta girl' dib? He'd been looking at his Bones intensely, then something seemed to click and he continued to weaken his previous statement. Why the hell was he so stupid?

He looked almost afraid, Caroline realized. Afraid of Dr. Brennan's reaction, probably. But she seemed to have no problem.

Sure, Caroline had thought that Brennan was a stone-hearted bitch, much like everyone else. But, and she would never admit this to anyone, she'd come to appreciate the scientist. She was actually quite entertaining if you got to know her better. And her antics with Booth were highly humorous – as was this scene in front of her right now.

When would those two realize that all they needed was a kiss, some form of breakthrough and they'd be where they both wanted to be? Caroline had hoped that her little Christmas blackmail two years ago would have helped, but apparently, it hadn't been enough.

They were grinning at each other stupidly now, and she decided she had to break up this scene before it became too ridiculous. Although, come to think of it, this was pretty ridiculous in itself...

Sighing, she opened her mouth.

"You two got a moment?"

I mean, you never heard her car coming, so realistically she could've been there all the time!

What do you guys think? Did I portray her well? I'm kind of anxious to hear your replies, because it's hard to write someone so ... hard to write. =P
