This is a one shot! Enjoy! It's a little weird, but oh well. Reviews are always appreciated!

"Doctor?!" She called through the fire and blaze. Every one was running and screaming, but not her. She peered around, looking through the smoke and haze. "Where is he?" The girl asked, not talking to anyone in particular.

Bright red sparks rained down everywhere. The platform was hazy with the smoke from the fires. A strange green light shone far off in the distance. The peoples screams were drowned out by the sound of guns firing. The girl rolled her eyes, not even shocked by the strange occurrences happening around her.

She ran towards, not away like most, the conflict. I followed her slowly from behind, spying on her. Strange creatures baring guns stood in army formation. In bewilderment I tried to hide hoping the girl (or the queer creations) wouldn't notice me. She kept on running not even batting an eyelid at the sight of these alien mortals. The girl ran up to a curious man. He stood there sheer wisdom surrounding his mysterious character. On the sight of this enigmatical figure the new beings turned and retreated. The girl stood behind the man, both of them holding a fierce warrior like look on their faces. They watched as the creatures fled back their space ship.

The girl tapped the man on his shoulder, looking up at him with innocent eyes. He looked down at her waiting for her to say some thing. She stayed silent looking at the destruction around her. Slowly the girl nodded her head and they walked away.

I hurried after them trying to eavesdrop into their conversation. "So, this is what you do?" I can hear the girl asking the wise man. He didn't make any action to answer her question. They stopped outside a blue box. The top of the box labeled: Police public call box. The box was familiar to me. I had seen once before.

The man stood next to his TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension In Space (Time machine)) staring at the girl. "Doctor…When I first met you, I saw you as the man who saved worlds and defeated evil. But now I see a whole different man standing before me, a man who can turn an army around on the sight of him. Is this who you really are?" The girl asked looking up to his intelligent eyes. "You must understand, if you are going to travel with me, that the universe has its consequences!" The Doctor said in wise tones. The girl looked at him.
"I don't think I could ever travel with someone like you! I thought you were brilliant, all those adventures we had. Why did you have to become…This?!" The girl raged, pointing a finger accusingly at him. She spun on her heel walking away from the blue box her head held high. The Doctor shook his head turing back to the TARDIS.

I run out, not wanting to miss seeing him after all these years of searching.
"Doctor!" I call quietly. He turns his head and looks my way. He takes a step toward me, a questioning look to his face. I couldn't say anything. I opened my mouth and a little squeak escaped. "Yes?" He asked. I didn't know what to do. Did I ask him? Would he want to see me?
I stood there staring at him with scared eyes. I trembled as I felt him looking at me, his eyes cutting into me. "What can I do for you?" He questioned waiting for me to respond. I felt a tear roll down me cheeks as I opened my mouth to answer. "Don't look back…" I say looking into his dark eyes. He put his hand on my shoulder and said one word "Never.". I couldn't take my eyes of his. "I can't" The Doctor finished before turning away. "I can't" He repeated his back turned. His voice trembled as he spoke and realised that not even mighty warriors have a heart (hearts) of steel.
