Tears Of All Oceans

The spray of the sea,

across my face.

The sound of the waves,

as we leave no trace.

Behind is the land,

where peace reigns in supreme.

Ahead is a dark cloud,

unknowist to me,

the beasts who ride waves,

in wooden ships.

The abbot is gone,

we have come to seek him.

To take him home,

to the rose colored stone,

called RedWall Abbey.

All this trouble for six tears,

tears in which we all pay dearly.

Why all the greed, why all the madness?

So one beast may wreak the treasure,

upon the backs of others.
