(Buffy)

"Mom, I'm going to the Mall." I say as I enter the house, and go get my stuff from my room.

"Can you take your brother and sister?" asks my mom as a reply.

"Uhg!" I can hear my siblings say as I, too, say it.

"Just take them! You two, just go with her! Maybe she'll take you to your friend's house." Mom replies to all of us.

"Fine!" We all three yell.

"Damien! Give me back my diary!" I can hear Dawn yell at her twin brother as I get closer to their room.

"No, Dawnie!" Replies Damien.

"Damien, give her, her diary back." I tell him.

"Yes, ma'am." He tells me with a sneer on his face, and I swear he spends too much time with Spike.

"Don't call me that, now, come on. I'll take you two to Spike's, after the mall." I tell them. They both jump up, diary forgotten, and pick up their money stacks, both of them have twenty dollars from their tenth birthday.

After the Mall

(Buffy)

"Spike, you here?" I call as I enter his crypt, both my ten year old siblings behind me.

"Yeah, Luv." He calls back as he pops out of the middle of the shadows.

"They, wanted to come over." I explain, as my siblings come out from behind me, and run to Spike, who immediately swoops them both up in his arms, and spins them around.

"You can stay." I hear Spike tell me, realizing I was heading for the door.

"Um, ok. You sure you don't mind?" I ask

"Yeah, I'm sure. I have some diet coke in the fridge. I also have some snacks, like pretzels and dry cereal." He tells me

"Ok, I'll stay." I tell him, and he smiles at me. I return the smile, and realize that I have a crush on him! He does help a lot though. He's always looking after my little brother and sister. I have a lot of good reasons to not be too upset about it.

"Buffy, you okay? You spaced out, Luv." I hear Spike through all the thinking going on, and I love how he says my real name.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Can I talk to you, alone?" I ask Spike

"No stakes?" He asks me

"No, stakes." I reassure him.

"Yeah, you two, wait right here." He tells my two siblings, who look at me to make sure that I want them to wait here.

"Listen to Spike." I tell them

"Ok, Buffy." They say at the same time. Spike and I walk outside, and he automatically goes into a panic about what he thinks I'm gonna say.

"If you want me to see them less, I'll stake myself. If you want me to move somewhere I can't see them, or you, I'll wait for the sun to rise, outside. If you. . . ." He's rambling on, and I cut him off before he can say anything else, "Spike, shut up for a minute." This makes him look at me, stop pacing, and shut up at the same time.

"Ok, now, can I speak for a minute?" I ask

"Uh, yeah, Luv." he tells me.

"Good, I, um, uh, kinda, um, have, uh, um, crush, um, uh, on, a, a, a, um, person, and, um need, advice." I tell him, not sure how he'll take it.

"Oh," he sounds disappointed, "I'd say, go for it. Take the first opportunity you get to tell him." He gives advice anyways.

"Ok." I say before taking a risk, and throwing myself at him. We both hit the ground, me on top of him. I press my lips to his, and he deepens the kiss. His tongue starts slowly tracing my lower lip, and I open my mouth. our tongues start fighting for dominance. I'm moaning into his mouth, and I can feel the bulge in his jeans. We both pull away, because we remember, there are two ten year old kids not but thirty feet away, at the most. We're both panting.

"I thought you meant someone else." He tells me when he has his breathe back.

"No, I meant you. Although I don't really think it's a crush, I think I'm in love with you." I reply.

"In that case, I love you, too." He tells me
