Meliodas grabs his knife tight in one hand with his other firmly pushed against the tree trunk standing before him. Carefully, with deep concentration and his tounge hanging out the left corner of his lips, he begins to carve into the trunk with the blade. "M..E..L..I.." He recites his name out loud keeping his focus. As he finishes his masterpiece he throws the knife, blade down, into the ground. He wipes his hands together and exclaims with a smile"There we go!" Liz stands up from their pincinc blanket and moves next to the short gentleman, her dark pink hair catching the breeze in the sky. Her hands cover her mouth as she reads the words, heart fluttering. "Meliodas, I don't think you should have done that." She says shakily as her mouth curls into a small frown. He turns to face her and asks "Why not?" His head cocked to the side always makes her chuckle and she shrugs off his ignorance for now "Well I guess its a sweet gesture." She smiles. "Exactally! Also now everyone who sees this tree will know we were here!" He chuckles at her. "OK I geuss, but what's with the heart?" She points at the carving of their names on the tree, which are circled by a large heart. "Well that's because I needed something to show everyone we were here together." He emphasizes the word together as he lifts his eyebrows with a perverted connotation. "Meliodas!" She laughs slapping him on the back. "Just don't do it to anymore trees ok? One is good enough." She smiles down on his small form and rubs his head. "Don't treat me like a kid Liz." He frowns. "Your right I'm sorry. Let's go back into town. I'm too stuffed to finish our picnic." She rubs her belly with satisfaction and he nods his head in agreement. Grabbing her hand he leads her towards the village and they talk amongst themselves the whole way there.
