If Lily didn't know better, she would think that everyone had gone crazy since the last day of school. It had only been a few months into the summer when she got a call from a Remus; a boy she had been friends with for all the years of Hogwarts.
"Hey Lily!" Remus shouted into the phone happily.
"Hi Remmie!" Lily shouted back.
"No need to shout Lils I can hear you loud enough!" Remus said.
"Ha ha, very funny!" Lily spoke into her purple phone.
Lily had just found a great new apartment that she shared with her best friend, Melissa Soeyuz, who also went to Hogwarts. Lily claimed almost half the apartment while Mel claimed the rest. It was a huge place with everything they needed. A great view, great neighbors and great place to shop! What else could she be missing?
"So what are you up to tonight?" Lily asked curiously.
"Going to work, what about you?" Remus told her. Lily thought for a second.
"Are you still working at that restaurant?
"No... why?"
"Because im hungry and I want some food!"
"No, I actually quit that job a while ago and now im... working.... Somewhere else." Remus spoke quietly nearing the end of his sentence.
"Where are you working?" Lily asked curiously. 'Normally Remus tells me everything, but he's not telling me anything!' Lily thought to herself.
"Umm... no place fancy or anything. You wouldn't like it." Remus said.
"Fine then, don't tell me!" Lily said, getting quite angry with Remus.
"Well, im heading off, call me later!" Remus said cheerfully.
"See yeah then." Lily said and hung up. She knew Remus was lying but she didn't know why.
Later that evening Melissa came home and found Lily sprawled out on the couch. Melissa knew that Lily was never really the quite type, and decided to surprise her. Lily hadn't seen Melissa walk in, so it was the best plan ever.
"SPIDER!" Melissa shouted. Lily jumped so high, that her head hit the fan and she fell back onto the couch.
"Melissa I HATE YOU!" Lily shouted back at her and chased her into the kitchen, which was just around the corner. As Melissa ran into the kitchen, she slid a stool at the doorway, and just as Lily came around the corner she hit the stool with full speed and flew straight to the ground. Lily lay there laughing her head off, which got Melissa involved in the whole laughing thing too.
After a few minutes, once they had pulled themselves off the floor, there was a knock on the door. When Lily opened the door, it wasn't whom she was expecting!
DUN DUN DUUUNNN!! Lol! Cliffy, eh? How about THAT!?!
