Disclaimer: I do not own Beyblade at all. I only own my characters.

It was sunny in New York for once, as Avalon stepped out of the vehicle that was sent to fetch her from the airport after her flight from Japan.

She pushed her sunglasses back up the bridge of her nose and stared up at the large building as the driver took her bags out of the trunk.

"Here miss, here are your things." The driver said, startling her out of her thoughts.

"O-oh. Uhm, thank you." She stuttered, handing the driver a $20 bill as a tip.

"No problem, miss. Have a good day." He waved his goodbye and drove off. Her only response was a nod of her head; she was still in shock at the size of the house.

She walked up to the front door with her bags in her hands and before she could even knock, the front door was swung open and she took a scared step back. "HELLLOOOO!" A navy-haired boy pretty much screamed. He was pulled back almost violently by a boy with black hair and a boy with blond hair popped up beside him.

"Come in; let me help you with that." The black haired boy said politely, taking her bags. "I'm Ray by the way, this here is Max. And the loud mouth is Tyson."

Avalon blushed a little at all the attention on her. "Hello... I'm Avalon Kaori. Nice to meet you," She said softly.

Out of the corner of her eye she saw movement and turned her head to see someone walk into the room. Crimson eyes stared back at her blue-grey ones. She ripped her gaze from his and looked around.

"And that," Tyson pointed to the newcomer, "Is Kai, the captain of the Bladebreakers. Welcome!" Kai growled a little at his introduction. He walked over to her and stared at her, his eyes glaring at her. "Training is in 3 hours. Be there." With that, he left the room. Everyone was silent.

"Anyways." Tyson said, over the awkward silence. "When's dinner, Ray?!" Tyson yelled again this time to Ray, who was coming back down the stairs from dropping off her bags in her room. Ray gave Tyson a sideways glare. "When you get off your lazy ass. Oh wait, that'll be never!" Everyone laughed at Ray's joke including Avalon, who had heard about the boys' personalities from magazines. Ray and Tyson argue all the way to the kitchen, leaving Max and Avalon alone.

"Want to see your room? It's niiice." Max says appreciatively. She nods, smiling at him. 'They're all so nice, except for what's-his-name. I can never remember.' She thinks to herself, following Max up the stairs.

"Oh my…" Avalon says breathless. Stairs were never her thing, but looking at her room it was totally worth it. The walls were a cream color, the bed matched the walls, but the comforter had swirls of midnight blue. The carpet and curtains were also midnight blue. Looking to her left she sees a door that leads to her own bathroom! She turns and smiles at Max.

"This is all so wonderful. I think I'm going to unpack and take a quick nap before practice." She says and Max smiles back. "Of course! Don't be late though."

"Yep.." Avalon replies, already almost asleep on the bed. Max laughs quietly and shuts the door.

Meh, sorry it's so short. I'm a little lacking in the inspiration department.

Any reviews and feedback would be nice :)

Any feedback is good feedback.
