A/N - Just like I said, the sequel to The Bonding was done within hours. So here we deal with the decision Evan and Laura have to make... What will they choose? Will they stay together or decide to go their separate ways? Tune in for another episode of 'As Atlantis... Turns?'

Anyway, back on track.

Hope you like the sequel. This is only one of the many adventures planned for Project Generation 2. And one that has actually been fully written.

Once again, please read and review.

Doctor Sheppard had only given them a week long trial, but somehow it had extended to two weeks. Evan hadn't gone to see her, and neither had Laura, but neither had they spoken about their situation.

The trading on Castiin had gone well and had been quite productive. In exchange for helping the Castiinans with their mining and some medical aid, the Atlantians had received food and material. There was even the odd hook up. All trading had been done through 'the Lornes', though only PR-2 and 3 and Doctor Sheppard knew exactly why.

Evan was going over all this in his head as he entered his quarters, the quarters he'd been sharing with his 'wife' for the past fortnight. Off to his right he could hear the oddly comforting sound of the shower running. On the desk was his laptop, turned on and displaying something. Setting his paints down, he walked over to it, sitting on the chair at the desk. On the screen was an email from Doctor Sheppard, sending Laura the official marriage record forms. Beside the laptop was a tablet pc, the forms already half filled out.

He was surprised; he hadn't thought Laura would want to actually stay married to him. He had warmed up to the situation but then had resigned himself to the fact that she would want to pretend it had never happened. She was a very independent woman, after all.

Smiling to himself, he didn't hear Laura exit the bathroom; neither did he hear her walk over to where he sat. That being the reason why he jumped halfway out of his seat when he heard her speak softly.

"I hoped you would see them," she admitted. Almost falling out of his seat he turned to look at her.

"Laura!" he hissed. She grinned, patting his shoulder.

"It's ok," she soothed mock-condescendingly. Evan glared half heartedly at her before standing up to see her properly.

"You want to stay 'bond-mates'." he stated.

"Yeah," Laura replied quietly, looking away towards the side of the room.

"Really?" Evan questioned, his hopes rising.

"Yes," She reiterated firmly, looking back at him, "Do you?" she asked.

"Definitely," Evan replied enthusiastically, "What made you change your mind?" he asked, thinking back to only a few days before when she had still indicated her reluctance to stay together.

"I like you. And I like sharing a bed, sharing quarters and having to pick your clothes up off the floor, however strange that may be," Laura admitted, looking down at her feet, which had suddenly become very interesting.

"I like having to steal the covers back in the middle of the night and I like finding your stuff everywhere... and I like you," Evan responded. Laura looked up at him, a smile in her eyes. Evan grinned and suddenly they were hugging.

"Thank you," Evan murmured into her hair. Pulling back, she looked up at him for a moment before tugging him down and kissing him. Passionate and forceful, she pushed him up against the wall, surprising them both. Pulling back, breathing heavily, Evan trailed his fingers down the side of her face.

"So... dinner?" he asked softly. Looking at him with a mischievous glint in her eye she kissed him again.

"Sure," she replied, almost out of breath. Opening the door, he motioned for her to precede him.

"After you, Mrs Lorne," he murmured huskily into her ear.
