chapter 1
It started as Gregory, the great healer of the Carpathian people walked through the forest. He was hunting for prey. He stopped and sniffed the air. He froze as he smelled a stench of darkness in the air. He growled and turned toward the stench. He said to the person standing there," hello, and life-stealer" He growled and crouched on the ground, glaring at the beast in front of him. He glared as the monster came forward. The vampire hissed then attacked Gregory. Gregory moved out of the way and stabbed his hand into the vampires back and gripping the heart," so young of a vampire you are." he ripped the heart out. He sent a lightening bolt down, as he started to walk away. He kept walking until he got to the town. He sniffed the air. Then he went to the place he smelt a gang. He growled and turned into a wolf. Raven was sitting at the inn. She was reading a book. She looked outside at the dark sky, and went to the window. She looked down at the village around her. She watched the people run to get inside. Then after awhile she went downstairs and went out to the village. She walked around in the night air. For once she was calm and happy. She smiled and walked around. Once she got to the forest she stopped and looked at it," I want to go walking in there but its dark and its night." As she walks back toward the inn, she ends up running into a guy with black hair," I'm sorry". She looks up at looks at her," you shouldn't be out here alone." He looks at her blue eyes. At once he was shocked to actually see the color of her eyes. He smiled at her," my name is Gregory might you be?" He looked at her black hair, and at her cloths then at her. She smiled," my name is raven Whitney". He bowed" hello, are you in the mountains?" She smiled and looked at him" I'm here for a vacation away from everything." She started to walk back into the village, he followed her" so do you like the mountains?" She turned and looked at him, meeting his silver eyes. She smiled and blinked her eyes. At once she started to fall; He went and wrapped his arm around her waist. He smiled," raven Whitney, you are mine. And will always be."He picked her up and started to walk away. He got to the inn he went right to her room. She groaned but stayed asleep as he laid her on the bed. He sat in the corner watching her with a small smile on his lips. He felt the coming of the sun and got up.
He then went to the window and looked back at her. He smiled," Raven, your going to be mine for good." He flew out of the window, turning into a beautiful black crow. He started to fly toward his house. He heard a voice in his head talking.*Mikhail, what are you reading now?*.He heard his one friend Mikhail talking to him. Mikhail looked up from the book, he smiled softly,*just reading a book on our kind. It's actually really funny what they think we are.*Gregory sighed and kept flying*too much information for your brain Mikhail*.A silent breeze followed him as he flew across the forest to his home on the landed and walked in {its close to sunrise go to rest Mikhail.}.A sigh could be heard {I will rest Gregory swear. and congratulations for finding a life mate, my friend}.Gregory went to the hole into the wall, and crawled into the soil as he felt his best friend sleep in his home. He laid on the soil and started to think of Raven, as he sighed. He heard soft humming in his head as he listened and figured out it was Raven. He smiles, {sleep little one}.His mind went quiet as raven fell asleep. He looked at the ceiling and let the dirt run over his body as he slept.
