Roxas was exhausted. He had had a long day at work and he just wanted to get back to his apartment and be with a certain special redhead. But first he had to stop by the store to pick up some Halloween candy since said redhead had forgotten to do so earlier that day. Luckily, though, the blonde was already done with that. So now he was homeward bound.

"Axel, I'm home!" he called as he walked into the apartment. He closed the door behind him. "Axel?"

Just then, an arm wrapped around his waist and a hand covered his mouth. Instantly, the blonde dropped the bag of candy and grabbed the hand over his mouth, attempting to pry it off. He struggled to free himself, but the grip around him only tightened and he was pulled closer to the attacker's body. He felt a breath on his ear.

"Happy Halloween," a male voice said.

Roxas's eyes widened and he shoved the person away from him. "Axel!" he exclaimed, turning around.

The redhead laughed. "Welcome home, Roxy."

"What the hell was that for?"

"To get you in the Halloween spirit!" He draped his arm around the blonde's neck. "C'mon Rox, it was funny."

"No it wasn't," he denied. "You scared the shit out of me."

Roxas picked up the bag of candy he dropped and moved to the kitchen to put it all in a bowl.

"Awe, I'm sorry, Roxy," Axel said, following him.

"Shut up. And don't call me that."

"You love it when I call you that."

"Actually, no, I really don't."

"Oh please, don't lie to me."

"I'm not lying, Axel."

"Wow, why are you in such a foul mood?"

"Because I had a shitty day at work. Then your little shitty stunt didn't make me feel any better. I thought something might've actually happened."

"I'm sorry, babe. I didn't know."

He shook his head, rolling his blue eyes. "Whatever." He left the kitchen and placed the bowl of candy on a small table beside the door.

Axel came up behind Roxas and wrapped his arms around him.

"Get off of me."

"No," he refused.

He kissed Roxas's earlobe lightly. Then he started kissing down his neck until he felt the blonde shudder. He smirked at this.

"Feeling better?"

"Shut up," he said again before turning in Axel's arms and kissing him on the lips.

"You know, babe," Axel started after breaking the kiss, "I have the two most perfect Halloween costumes for us. Why don't we put them on and celebrate Halloween the right way?" His infamous smirk returned at this suggestion.

"Trick or treat?" Roxas replied.

"I've already tricked you," Axel pointed out. "Now it's time for the treat."
