f people were stars, Edward Elric was a star already burned out. He hadn't gone out with the bang of a supernova, but with a whimper, quietly collapsing in on himself.

But there were times, where Edward would light up again. Alfons could see it then, the faint light of who he used to be, the bright and blinding god of all the stars, the envy of all who saw him.

He didn't believe in Edward's fairy tales, but believed that this invisible star was what caused Edward to light up again. He believed how much Edward needed his brother.
