Day
We were here. As Edward parked his silver volvo at our college, I stood there, rigid in my seat. I was frightened.
"Edward, what if-" I started but he cut me off.
"Everything is going to be okay, you are different from other newborn vampires and you know that, you are going to be just fine." He smiled my favorite crooked smile and bent down to kiss me.
I felt fine until Alice knocked on my side window, making me turn around thinking it was someone else and making me break my grasp around Edward's neck. My fear came back as soon as my lips left his.
I scowled at her.
She ignored me and opened my door.
"So, Bella. You nervous?" she asked, flashing her perfect smile at me.
I got out the car and stared at her.
"If anything bad happens today, I am blaming it on you." I spoke through my teeth.
Alice knew I always acted like that when I was nervous about something and she knew I was joking, even if at the moment nothing felt like a joke. So, she just flashed her perfect smile at me again, making me feel irritated.
"You know you were right, Edward. She is so tiny to be so annoying." I turned around to face him as he got out of the car.
"Imagine living with her forever." he chuckled as he wrapped his arm around my waist.
I just shook the thought away. As much as I loved Alice, today was not the right day to be kidding around. If I killed someone, it was going to be serious.
