Disclaimer: I don't own Vampire Knight for if I did I would make all your little fan wishes a reality. Credit goes to where credit is deserved! I do, however, have custody of Ami.

EDIT 01/16/16: Head on to chapter 10 for my full mini story on where I've been and all that jazz. When I started writing this Zero was extremely OOC so hopefully my editing fixes this. Remember, this is meant to be fun so hopefully the OOC-ness won't be too much of an issue! Revised a bunch of chapter as well so enjoyed when uploaded!

Ah and since I have made drastic revisions some comments/reviews may not apply anymore. Certain scenes or moments may have been altered or completely taken out.

Enjoy!

Zero hadn't really figured when or how he grew to liking her. Alright, maybe he did. Maybe it was the way she carried herself, her feisty and down to earth personality or maybe it was how dorky she was. Probably a damn combination of all this but one thing was for sure; he liked Ami Moon. Not that this would be admitted out loud. . .The trio, Zero, Yuki and Ami were close in a way. She was spent most of her time talking to Yuki and Yori and since Yuki was always around Zero that meant Ami was as well. Zero was always on the grumpy reserved side and Ami was probably the only other person who could stand to be around him. Her attitude and temper was just as bad as his at times. Getting rid of her was hard, especially if you called her annoyed then she'd stay on purpose.

The day went by at a steady pace per usual, go to class, die a little inside, stare out into space then take care of the Night Class. It was a daily routine with minimal interruptions. As the final bell rung Zero and Yuki stood from their seats and quickly headed off to the Moon Dormitory where the Night Class resided. No matter how quickly they made their way there they somehow could never beat the overly loud crowd that gathered every afternoon.

The pair sighed as they began to fend of the mass crowd of yelling students. This was a rather tedious job but he had to be done. None of these girls were going to land a finger, not even share the same breath with the Night Class students.

"Okay, move it or lose it!" Zero practically hissed out. Agitation was cleared written all over his face.

"Lose what?" A random student called out. "Whatever I'm going to lose I want to lose it to Ichijo! We love you!" This just caused the crowd to roar once again. At this point Zero would pop a blood vessel. Shocking he hasn't had a stroke yet. As he proceeded with his duty of basically babysitting the crowd he took notice of Ami's absence.

For this single fact he actually tolerated her more, she wasn't into this bullshit. No degrading oneself by swooning over the Night Class. It's understandable if some of the girls had a crush on them but this was borderline obsession. So instead of dying within the hormonal student body Ami was off to the side sitting at the base of a nearby tree. A smirk was visible on her face as she watched Zero become different levels of pissed off. It was absolutely funny to her. She thanked her lucky stars this job was not hers.

As the Vampire filled Night Class continued walking out Kaname took notice of Ami. The girl stuck out like a sore thumb seeing as she was the only one not bouncing within the crowd.

"Hey Kaname what are you staring at?" Ichijo asked, tone filled with utter curiosity.

"That girl. . ." Feet coming to a stop he trailed off for a moment before he continued speaking. "She is the only one not among the crowd."

"And?" The blonde egged on.

"And I think I will have myself a little fun." The expression that appeared resembled nothing but mischief as he resumed his walk. His eyes took note of her appearance, long raven colored hair, cloud gray eyes speckled with the tiniest bit of blue, and fair skin which only made the color of her rosy lips pop out even more. "Soon."

EDITED 01/16/16: I feel like my mind is going to make Kaname a creeper asshat. lel.

For all those long time readers tell me what you think of the new chapter one and those to come! For new readers. . .Be happy you don't have to sit through my early years of bad writing!
