A/N: This is my version of how Mr. and Mrs.Diablo met. Before you read this, I want to make something perfectly clear. This is a one-shot, so don't tell me to finish the story. Thank you. I'm too sane today. Curse you Ritalin!

Disclaimer: To my immense disappointment, I still don't own any of Jhonen Vasquez's creations.

Satan leaned his elbow on a small table and sighed. Why did he go on this cruise again? Oh, that's right. He was too "anti-social" and needed a girl friend. That's what everyone told him, anyway. Like he could really meet someone he liked on a cruise. He didn't even like water!

A group of girls were giggling behind him. He gritted his teeth. Satan was in his human form, and for some reason unknown to him women found him attractive. He was so sick of women. All they ever did was complain. And criticize. And-

His thoughts were cut short by someone poking him on the shoulder. He turned around and saw a short blond girl. She was skinny and wore a cross around her neck. He looked at her with bored eyes.

"What?" he asked annoyed. She had disrupted his musings. She looked at him apologetically.

"Um, have you seen anyone who works on this ship? I accidentally locked myself out of my room." She was clearly embarrassed, and Satan found this amusing.

"No. I have not seen anyone who works here. Now please go away," he replied. She frowned.

"Oh. Okay. Thanks for your help, anyway." She started to go. All of a sudden, Satan felt a twinge of pity. He actually wanted to help her.

"Wait," he said. She turned around to look at him. "Maybe I can help you." She smiled.

"Thank you," she replied. Satan smirked.

"No problem. By the way, I'm Juan. And you would be...?" She blinked.

"How rude of me! I'm Jessica," Jessica told him. Satan grinned.

"Jessica. Such a pretty name. Show me where your room is. I'm sure I can get the door open," he told her. Satan took the blushing girl's hand and off they went. 'Well,' he thought, 'maybe women aren't so bad after all.'
