A shaking woke me up from a fantastic dream. I groaned in frustration. "Do I have to get up?"
"If you want to have breakfast, you better." My best friend Hermione teased. She shook me furiously, almost snapping my neck. "Alright; alright; I'm up!"
Hermione folded her arms while she put a smug look on her face. I grabbed a pair of jeans and a blue shirt and headed into the Dormitories bathroom. "Didn't have to almost snap my neck to wake me up," I called through the bathroom door. Hermione just chuckled. "Sorry."
Opening the dormitory door, the two of us ran into Harry and Ron. "Hi, 'Mione," Ron said to Hermione as he grabbed her hand. Hermione kissed him before the four of us headed down to breakfast. Saying goodbye to the Fat Lady, we headed down flights of stairs and eventually arrived at the Dining Hall. I saw Draco Malfoy at the Slytherin Table, and my heart skipped a beat.
"Danny," Harry said, shaking my arm. "Hello?" Snapping back into reality, I ushered my best friend off and sat down in between Harry and Ron.
"So," I said hoping to erase the daydreaming faze I had from Harry's mind. "N.E.W.T.'s are coming up soon, are you prepared?" Harry nodded as he stuffed a piece of toast in his mouth. Today was the big, 'Slytherin x Gryffindor' Quidditch game today and I was hoping to see Draco there. He got kicked out from the team from knocking Harry of his broom.
After everyone had finished eating, the whole school rampaged to the Quidditch field. On the way there, I bumped into Draco.
"Watch it you filthy Gryffindor." he cursed as he brushed himself off. My heart sank as he stalked off, his cronies followed close behind him. Wiping away tears, I walked to the Quidditch game alone.
