It all happened so suddenly. The pain was so intense that I fell on the floor. Panic coursed through my body. I grabbed for my phone and called the first person I could think of. As soon as she picked up, I knew she was annoyed.
"Miss Swan, do you have any idea what time it is?" I had obviously woken her up.
"Regina" I gasped out through the pain.
She sighed. "What do you want, dear? It is three thirty in the morning and I would like to go back to sleep."
"Regina," I repeated. "It hurts." I couldn't say anything else, but it seemed to be enough.
"Emma? What happened? Are you alright?" It surprised me how concerned she seemed to be.
"At the park… I have been shot." I tried to speak as clearly as possible, but I was starting to feel more and more tired.
"Keep talking to me, Emma! You cannot die on me!" She spoke. I could hear her moving around.
"Just want to sleep…" I told her sleepily.
"No! Emma!" those were the last words I heard before I blacked out.
