FADE IN:

1 INT. MONA'S ROOM, RADLEY SANATARIUM-NIGHT. 1

We stand at the window. Lightning lights up an otherwise dark room. We move backwards noticing small things such as a newspaper covering the story of Maya's death, a file on a desk. We keep moving until the entire room is in view. On the bed sits Mona Vanderwaal.

She smiles at someone standing beside us. Someone we cannot see.

CLOSE UP TO MONA. A strange smile.

MONA: Thank you for coming. Now let's discuss work shall we?

We turn around and see- Samara and Naomi standing across us.

SAMARA: So what do we have to do?

MONA: Thank the person responsible for killing Alison DiLaurentis. Cause you and I know that Garret did not kill her.

Naomi looks excited. Samara gulps.

CUT TO:

2 INT. ULTRASONOGRAM ROOM, ROSEWOOD HOSPITAL-NIGHT. 2

We are looking at a pair of eyes. Emily Fields lay down on a stretcher, nervous and worried look on her face. A nurse and a doctor walks in.

EMILY: Are you sure this is the correcttest to do?

The doctor smiles at her.

DOCTOR: Well you have had a case of ulcer before. We want to check if it is the ulcer

that's bothering you again.

Emily forces a tight smile.

NURSE:There's nothing to be afraid of dear.

We take a look at Emily's face one last time before we..

CUT TO:

3 INT. WAITING ROOM, ROSEWOOD HOSPITAL-NIGHT. 3

Melissa sits on a chair reading a magazine. Spencer approaches her from behind, handing her a bottle of water. Melissa looks at her sister and a sad smile forms on her lips. Spencer sits down beside her.

MELISSA: Thank you for doing this.

Spencer looks at her.

SPENCER: Well I am glad you are finally coming around to being around me again. And after New York and all the extra classes and fashion shows and dr...

Spencer looks down.

SPENCER : I just want to be here for you. You don't have to face the responsibility of your first child alone.

Melissa has tears in her eyes.

MELISSA: I just never thought Garret could do something like that! He was mischievous but not the kind of person who could kill someone.

SPENCER: Why do you think he did it?

Melissa covers her face with her palms.

MELISSA: I don't know Spence.

SPENCER: Maybe for Jenna? Maybe she asked him to do so?

Melissa looks at Spencer, confused.

MELISSA: I know Jenna and Ali never were the best of friends but why would Jenna want to..

Spencer stands up, a lot of feelings going through her. We turn around and notice Emily in the crowds. But that's not it. Then we look at the TV screen. The headlines read:

"Garret Reynolds released due to insufficient evidence and proper motivations for the crimes he was charged for."

Emily is shocked as well. So is Melissa. And almost every one in the entire room.

ACT ONE

4 INT. ROSEWOOD MALL-DAY. 4

The camera pans down to find Hanna and Caleb walking through the mall.

QUICK SEQUENCES:

-Hanna and Caleb browsing through clothes.

-Hanna in a beautiful black formal dress.

-Caleb in a jeans and black shirt.

-Caleb and Hanna together in sexy outfits.

Loud music plays through as the sequences play out.

CUT TO:

5 INT. TIFFANY & CO. SHOP, ROSEWOOD MALL-DAY. 5

We are looking at Hanna's face as she admires her the new earrings she is trying out. Caleb is walking around behind.

CALEB: You like that?

Hanna looks at him and smiles.

HANNA: You don't have to pay Caleb, it's expensive.

CALEB:Nothing is more expensive than you.

Caleb smiles as Hanna shifts her focus back to the earrings.

Suddenly everything becomes a blur, the colors fade away and a diminished looking Tiffany shop appears. Hanna is still looking at the earrings, the same one she was looking at earlier. She picks it up and observes it beauty.

MONA (O.S.): You like that?

Hanna turns over to face her then best friend, the It-Girl Mona.

HANNA: It's too expensive Mona.

Mona smiles at her.

MONA: Oh honey, it's nothing. Today is after all your birthday. I'll buy you whatever you like.

Hanna's expression shows her appreciation towards Mona. She turns around, walking away.

HANNA: I think I'll look for something else.

Mona follows her.

MONA: Hanna it'll look gorgeous on you. You cannot not buy it.

Hanna smiles at Mona.

HANNA:Maybe I'm waiting for Sean to buy me that.

Mona looks sad but then smiles.

MONA: Okay then let me buy you something more expensive.

CUT FADE TO:

6 INT. TIFFANY & CO. SHOP, ROSEWOOD MALL-DAY. 6

Hanna looks lost. Caleb stands behind her now.

CALEB: Hanna?

Hanna shakes out of her memory of Mona and turns to face Caleb.

HANNA: Sorry I just got lost in thoughts.

Caleb looks worried.

CALEB:Is this about Garret being released?

Hanna looks reluctant.

HANNA: I guess.

She smiles and turns her focus back to the earrings.

CUT TO:

7 EXT. ROSEWOOD MALL-DAY. 7

Hanna walks down the stairs of the mall to the street. But as soon as she does, reporters swarm in around her.

REPORTER 1: Ms. Marin, what do you..

REPORTER 2: Garret Reynolds was accused of killing your best friend..

REPORTER 3: .. A free man?

The buzz becomes louder as Hanna looks around. People, flashes of camera, snapping sound as photos are being clicked. Horn sounds.

HANNA(Shouts):I don't know anything aboutAlison's murder investigation. Idon't keep tabs on it because I nolonger care. I have a life and wondering about Alison will not make it any bett...

The reporters part as a car comes towards Hanna. Caleb sits in the driver's seat, confused and angry. Hanna starts to move towards the car door. Reporters close in around the car as Hanna opens the front door and get in. The buzz begins again as they drive away.

CUT TO:

8 INT. ARIA'S ROOM, MONTGOMERY HOUSE-DAY. 8

Sunlight streams in through the window as Aria Montgomery sits on her bed playing a slow tune in her guitar. The room looks modified, yet very artistic.

The door opens and Aria drops her guitar down. Spencer and Hanna walk in. Aria smiles at them.

ARIA: Hey you guys.

Spencer sits down across Aria on the bed. Hanna stands beside Spencer.

HANNA: You look happy.

Spencer eyes at Hanna then back at Aria.

SPENCER: You haven't been replying to any of my texts!

Aria moves her guitar away to a corner.

ARIA: I'm sorry! It's just I could notbear the thought of the nightmares being back again.

HANNA: The nightmares are back Aria. We are in the spotlight once again.

ARIA: What happened?

Hanna sighs.

SPENCER: Reporters gave her a hard time at the mall today.

Aria looks surprised. Then a look of pity floods her face.

ARIA: I'm so sorry Han.

Hanna forces a tight smile.

SPENCER: Anyways, did any of you talk with Emily?

HANNA: She called me last night. Her street is crawling with reporters and police.

Spencer sighs.

ARIA: Hopefully tonight's party will give her the break she deserves. I mean what do you think she is going through knowing that her exgirlfriend and best friend's possible murderer is just right down the street.

SPENCER: Poor Em.

Soft music fills in as the three liars continue talking. However it is inaudible.

FADE TO:

9 EXT. FIELDS HOUSE-DAY. 9

We are looking at Emily through her bedroom window. She sits on her window seat looking at the crowd of reporters interviewing Detective Wilden and other police officers. Distant view of Jenna on her porch with her walking stick. Noel stands with her.

CUT TO:

10 EXT. REYNOLDS HOUSE-DAY. 10

Wilden stands in the middle of a crowd of reporters. Camera shutter clicks as he speaks.

WILDEN: After two months of search and questioning we learned that the evidence that we had against Mr. Reynolds were not sufficient enough to hold him any longer and so...

CUT TO:

11 EXT. CAVANAUGH HOUSE PORCH- DAY. 11

Jenna's sunglasses. Every little corner of it visible. We move backward until her entire face fills the frame. She has an awkward fear on her face.

JENNA: I cannot believe this. Noel he is going to come after me the very chance he gets.

We move further backwards until Noel is also visible.

NOEL: You know I'll never let that happen.

He takes her hand and she puts her head on his shoulder. He guides her to the door, opens it, they walk in and closes it at our face.

CUT TO:

12 INT. EMILY'S ROOM- DAY. 12

Emily's phone chimes. She checks it. "NEW TEXT MESSAGE," the screen reads. She opens it. It is from Spencer. "How is it? The reporters gone?" Emily hits the reply button and types in "It just keeps getting worse. Jenna was observing Garret from her porch. Noel was with her." She hits send.

The bedroom door opens. Pam walks in. She sits down across Emily.

PAM: How are you holding up?

Emily looks down.

EMILY: I am trying to be okay mom.

Pam moves closer and Emily rests her head on her shoulder.

PAM: You don't have to try Emily. You can be yourself. You can cry. You can scream. Just let every negative feeling out of your heart because other wise you will find it very difficult to be happy again.

Emily simply nods her head. A two-three second silence.

EMILY: Mom, did you ever know someone who was killed but never brought to justice?

Pam bites her lips. A worried look on her face.

PAM: No honey. But you know you can share anything with me right?

Emily nods.

PAM: What did the doctor say yesterday? Is your ulcer troubling you again?

Emily lifts her head up and looks at the window down at the street. Wilden is still talking with the reporters.

EMILY: No. The ulcer is fine. It's just I did not tell you this but I've starved myself over the last few days and that was just a side effect of that.

Pam looks surprised.

PAM: Why would you do that to yourself?

Emily looks down again, trying to come up with a reason.

EMILY: Mom can you make me some soup? I'mhungry. And don't put spices please.

Pam sighs.

PAM: Sure. But I would still love to be a more important part of your life. I want to be your friend Emily.

Emily smiles. Pam turns and walks away. After she is gone, Emily's phone chimes. She turns to examine it. She is reading a new text message from an unknown number. Emily's eyes becomes bigger in disbelief as she reads through the text. She drops her phone. We look at what it says: "Poor Em. Need help telling the truth about what you actually learnt at the hospital? You just have to lie again!"

Emily gasps for air as she moves to her bed and lies upside down on the bed. Down in the streets below, we see someone in a black hoodie walking away.

FADE TO BLACK.

End of Act One

ACT TWO

13 INT. HASTINGS KITCHEN-DAY - DAY 13

Spencer sits at the counter in the kitchen on her phone.

SPENCER: I'll take care. Don't worry...

Veronica is making coffee behind her.

SPENCER (CONT'D): Love you too. Bye.

Spencer puts her phone down, the smile on her face slowly turning to determination. Veronica takes a seat beside Spencer, putting the mug on top of the counter.

VERONICA: Where is Toby?

Spencer types something as we follow her hands moving across the keyboard of her laptop, slowly moving up to her face, as she answers.

SPENCER: He's still in Philly for work.

Veronica sighs and takes a sip from her mug.

VERONICA: Well at least he is away from all this drama. I still cannot believe that Judge Harrison agreed to

release Garret after all that proof.

Spencer is still typing.

SPENCER: Wilden says the investigation was not going anywhere.

Veronica blinks at Spencer's response and then looks at her daughter. After a few seconds Spencer looks at her mom.

VERONICA: And you believe him?

SPENCER: Did I ever say that?

VERONICA: You must stay away from him Spencer. Don't go wandering to him hoping to learn the truth. I know he probably killed..

SPENCER: Mom! Don't worry. I won't talk to Garret.

The door opens and Mr. Hastings walk in. He stands across Veronica.

PETER: Spencer, I've requested maximum security at the Golf Club for tonight's party just like you asked for. No uninvited guest will enter.

Spencer smiles.

SPENCER: Thanks dad.

Veronica looks worried. She looks at Peter.

VERONICA: Do you think we should assign Spencer with a personal body guard?

Peter laughs and so does Spencer. Veronica looks at them in awe which turns into anger quickly.

PETER: You okay?

Veronica stands up, puts her coffee cup in the sink and turns around.

VERONICA: Are you? After all that happened two months ago how do you not expect me to act like this? This town harbours too many secrets which people often use as weapons. I just don't want Spencer to end up getting hurt!

Spencer and Peter are silent as they process all these in.

SPENCER: Too many secrets? Weapons? Mom what is this about? Is this about Mona?

Veronica puts her hand on her waist and sighs.

VERONICA: Maybe. Sorry I'm just working on this really delicate case right now and it has my mind messed up.

Peter walks up to her and put his hand on her shoulder. She sits down.

PETER: Are you talking about the..?

Veronica nods.

SPENCER: What am I missing here?

PETER: Nothing.

The door opens. Melissa walks in.

MELISSA: Woah! Why the gloomy atmosphere?

Everyone looks at her.

CUT TO:

14 INT. EMILY'S BEDROOM-DAY. 14

Emily sits on her bed, a lot of clothes in our sight, surrounding her. She holds the scarf Maya gave her, lost in thoughts. An empty bowl lies on the bed as well, traces of soup on it.

She wraps up the scarf and puts in at one corner of the bed. She picks up a T-shirt. Holds it her expressions showing a sense of recalling an incident.

FADE TO:

15 INT. BREW-NIGHT. 15

Emily is cleaning a table with a cloth , a tray on the table with not-so-clean plates and used glasses.

A tall guy walks in, brown hair. He takes a seat on that table. It's Mike. Mike Montgomery. Emily looks at him, surprised to see him there.

EMILY: Mike we are closing now.

Mike does not look at Emily. He remains silent. Emily lingers for a few moment, but then walks to the counter. A girl, Zoe stands at the counter waiting for Emily. Emily puts her tray down and Zoe carries them away. Emily looks at Mike, who is now playing some game in his tablet. She takes out her phone and starts typing a text to Aria. "Mike is at the Brew. What's wrong?" reads the message she sends to Aria.

Zoe comes back from inside. She looks at Emily.

EMILY (CONT'D): I'll close it down. You can go.

ZOE: What about him?

EMILY: I know him. He's my best friend's brother. I'll handle him.

Zoe nods her head reluctantly.

ZOE: Great!

She goes back in. Emily checks her phone. "One NEW Message," reads the screen. She presses a button and a message from Aria pops up. It reads: Take care of him please? Will explain later. Emily exhales. The sound of The Brew's door closing is heard. She walks over to Mike and sits beside him.

EMILY: You want something Mike?

Mike does not respond. He looks too much into the game. But at the same time, he looks depressed.

EMILY (CONT'D): Mike you've gotta tell me something because it's getting late and the streets are not exactly safe at this time of the night!

Mike still does not answer. A slight drop of tear makes it's way down his cheeks. Emily notices this and opens her mouth to speak, but looks dumbfound. She stands up and almost starts walking when..

MIKE: They're fighting again. Meredith's back in Rosewood and he went to see her.

Emily does not look surprised exactly as if she already knew this. She sits down beside him again.

EMILY: I'm so sorry. It's hard thinking two people who loved each other once so much now no longer does.

Mike does not respond. He does not even move a finger.

EMILY (CONT'D): I guess it happens you know. People fall out of love and they end up hurting so many more people than just themselves in the process. In the end you just have to accept it and I guess and move on.

Mike looks at her.

MIKE: Did you do the same Emily? Did you move on from Maya yet?

Emily looks shocked by this question.

EMILY: Mike that's different!

Mike looks at her with disbelief.

MIKE: Is it?

EMILY: We never fell out of love. She died!

MIKE: Maybe you did not. But can you say the same for her?

Suddenly we hear a door creaking open.

CUT TO:

16 INT. EMILY'S ROOM- DAY. 16

Aria enters through the door. Emily looks at her.

ARIA: Hey Em! Excited for tonight?

Emily forces a smile.

CUT TO:

17 INT. MARIN KITCHEN- DAY. 17

Two laughs. Hanna and her grandmother walks in and sets down the groceries on the kitchen counter.

REGINA: God I miss the good old days I spent with your mom.

Hanna tries to bury her sadness in the groceries but it is clearly reflected by her face.

HANNA: You should come over more often. Do you know how much I missed you over the summer?

Regina smiles.

REGINA: Oh you had the time of your life in New York this summer. I doubt you missed me.

Hanna makes a she does not know what she is talking about face at her grandma.

HANNA: Of course I missed you! I missed you by my side during all those fashion shows and mall trips. Even though Caleb is a great boyfriend, he is the last person you'd wanna take with y..

Hanna moves over to the fride and opens it to put in the packets of milk into it.

HANNA (CONT'D): ..ou to a mall.

Regina laughs.

REGINA: Oh Hanna! Do you not miss Mona? I liked that girl. But who knew she'd turn out to be crazy?

Hanna looks down at the bags again. We follow her gaze to a note inside one of the bags. She puts her hands in to take it out. Regina's voice becomes shaky to inaudible. We are wrapped up in Hanna's world. She gasps as her eyes dart through the note, once, twice, thrice. We peek over the third time. It reads: "Dear Hannakins! Taking a life is a guilt that haunts you forever. And I'll only make it all worse!" Hanna blinks and gulps simultaneously.

REGINA: Hanna?

Hanna turns around and forces a smile.

REGINA (CONT'D): You alright?

Hanna nods and then looks away again. We linger on to her nervous face and then..

CUT TO:

18 INT. GROCERY STORE-DAY. 18

A hand covered in black gloves takes out someone money and hands it over to a hand reaching out towards him. We turn back and stand behind the person in the black hoodie. Standing across him is a man who counts the money. He smiles at the guy/girl in the black hoodie before leaving his position. The black hoodie turns around. He is wearing a mask, a completely black mask concealing his/her face. We do not catch his/her eyes. He/She walks away, leaving us alone in the fruit section.

CUT TO:

19 EXT. GROCERY STORE-DAY. 19

Black hoodie stands under the shade in front of the grocery store.

SHIFT TO BLACK HOODIE'S POV. Aria Montgomery across the street. Gets into her car. Drives past. We linger for a few seconds.

CUT TO:

20 EXT. HELIPAD-DAY. 20

Duncan stands smiling as someone walks towards him.

DUNCAN: It's been weeks.

Aria engulfs him in a hug. It is a very quick exchange.

ARIA: Well I've been busy with music classes. I have completed my guitar course.

Duncan's eyebrows rise. He looks surprised and happy.

DUNCAN: You don't say.

Aria smiles.

ARIA: Can we go flying already? I miss it.

Duncan takes Aria into his arms.

DUNCAN: Well, then let's not keep you waiting anymore.

They laugh and start walking away. Outside the metal gates, we see a black hoodie wandering around.

END OF ACT TWO

ACT THREE

21 INT. RADLEY COMMON ROOM-DAY. 21

We follow a blond into the room. She turns around and we see her face-Samara. A volunteer ID Card stuck to her dress. She smiles at the nurse giving a patient some medicines. She waves at a girl with cards.

We move away from her to find Mona Vanderwaal playing with a deck of cards. Across her sits Naomi, wearing a visitor's ID card.

MONA: Uncle Ned made me see how interesting cards can be!

Naomi's eyes dart around through the room.

NAOMI: I cannot believe you spent the entire summer in this nut house.

Mona smiles and shakes her head forward and backward.

MONA: Just be grateful I did not drag you down with me. Tell me now, how's Riley?

Naomi looks irritated.

NAOMI: She's fine.

Samara joins them from Naomi's behind and stands there.

SAMARA: So I have looked into the information Naomi gave me.

All of them starts speaking in a hush now.

MONA: And?

SAMARA: I found out Ali's friend from Upenn.

I know where she lives and she might be the only one who could help us solve this mystery. Mona looks surprised but she tries her best to hide it.

MONA: So we're saying that this girl was actually Ali's friend and not her puppet, that she knew the color of Ali's every hair?

NAOMI: You do realize that knowing the color of every hair on someone's head is impossible even if you tried?

SAMARA: This is our only lead now and we have to try to contact her.

Mona looks annoyed.

MONA: If only it was that simple. I don't want to contact her unless you're absolutely sure that she can shed some light into Ali's murder mystery. What did you say her name was again?

SAMARA: I didn't yet.

NAOMI: It's CeCe! CeCe Drake.

Mona smiles.

CUT TO:

22 INT. FLYING HELICOPTER-DAY. 22

Aria sits beside Duncan who pilots the helicopter. ARIA: I've missed this so much! Duncan looks at Aria with a worried look. DUNCAN: You're not sad? Aria looks at him as if she was not expecting the question he just asked. ARIA: Why should I be sad? DUNCAN: Ezra left you that's why? Aria looks at the sky as we follow her gaze. It shifts down to her palms, her nails, then to Duncan's face. ARIA: It's been more than a month now and I'm over him now. DUNCAN: I remember three weeks ago you wouldn't even get out of your bed. ARIA: It was my reaction to the breakup and my parents fighting with each other. My mom left again for the second time. And the pain went away soon. I realized life would be wasted if I mourned Ezra choosing his career over me and if I waited for my parents to grow back together.. Aria shifts her gaze. Duncan drives on. ARIA (CONT'D): ..because it would never happen again. I realized I could allow some fun to brighten up my life again. So I went to New York with my friends. It was rough at first. But then I had fun you know. I finished guitar classes and I'm writing songs now. Or at least trying to. Duncan looks at her and smiles. She smiles back. DUNCAN: Imagine how Grammy winner Aria Montgomery would sound like. ARIA: Well I haven't thought that far. I don't even know if I want to be a singer. DUNCAN: I'm happy you're doing okay. ARIA: Let's change the topic. Um.. How did you meet Vivian? I know it was in a bookshop but what exactly.. Duncan looks at her with a gloomy face as if all the happiness has been wiped away from the world. ARIA (CONT'D): You don't have to answer that question if you don't want to! Duncan slows down the helicopter. DUNCAN: I don't have any problem talking about Vivian. And you deserve to know about me. It feels like I know you completely but you don't know me at all.

Aria smiles at him.

FADE TO:

23 EXT. BOOK SHOP,BROOKHAVEN-DAY. 23

Sun streams over Duncan's hair as he stands outside looking at the latest books.

DUNCAN (V.O.): I was looking for a book, I can't remember which one. She sneaked upfrom my back. She almost scared me.

Duncan's back. A red coat stands behind him. Dark hair. Rises her hand. Then lets it fall. Slowly Creeps up to him and then.

VIVIAN: BOOM!

Duncan turns around and jumps. Vivian laughs.

VIVIAN: Gotcha!

DUNCAN: God you almost scared me to death. Vivian smirks.

VIVIAN: Wasn't that the point? I'm Vivian. Vivian Darkbloom.

Vivian has a sinister smile on her face.

FADE TO:

24 INT. FLYING HELICOPTER-DAY. 24 Aria has a shocked expression on her face. ARIA: Wait so Ali just went to you and boomed you? For no reason. DUNCAN: Even I found it skeptical at first but then.. ARIA: She charmed you to be her puppet. She does that. After that she is a bitch. DUNCAN: You should not be speaking ill of your dead ex-best friend, even though she threatened to expose your father's improper behaviors to your mom. Aria sighs. DUNCAN (CONT'D): I'm sorry. ARIA: Don't be.

FADE TO:

25 INT. CAFE, BROOKHAVEN-DAY. 25

Vivian sits across Duncan in a table sipping coffee.

DUNCAN (V.O.): She told me she was new in town and wanted me to show her around promising to buy me coffee later. I could not say no.

Vivian and Duncan laughs.

VIVIAN: I cannot believe that he did that! Oh my god.

DUNCAN: I know right.

DUNCAN (V.O.): She was so passionate, funny and convincing that she ensnared me the day she met me. I was caught up in her game. Caught up in her.

FADE TO:

26 INT. FLYING HELICOPTER-DAY. 26

Aria has a pitiful look on her face.

DUNCAN: We can continue this conversation later cause I am super hungry. Let's go have lunch! My treat.

ARIA: Great!

CUT TO:

27 INT. RESTAURANT-DAY. 27

Duncan gets up from his chair. Aria follows.

ARIA: Thanks for the lunch.

DUNCAN: No problem. See you tonight.

ARIA: See you.

They hug each other before Duncan leaves. Aria picks up her bag and phone and we see she has a new text message. She hits the open button. It reads: "WhAt DuncAn do when he leArns he just hAd lunch with "A" murderer's AssociAte? Aria's pupil enlarges.

CUT TO:

28 INT. SPENCER'S ROOM-EVENING. 28

Spencer has a number of dresses lying on her bed. She is shuffling through the shoes in her cupboard. The door to her room creaks open. Spencer turns around, looking alarmed. Spencer sighs.

MELISSA: Lose something?

Spencer stands up.

SPENCER: No. Everything is okay.

MELISSA: Well you look like you're going back to New York again.

Spencer smiles.

SPENCER: I would take a lot more to New York trust me.

Melissa sits on the bed. Spencer goes back to going through her shoes.

MELISSA: Garret came to see me earlier today.

Spencer looks stunned. Then she turns around.

SPENCER: He did what? Did you call the police?

MELISSA: What? No! I sent him away.

SPENCER: What did he want?

Melissa bites her lips.

MELISSA: Me. He thought everything would be the way it was before.

She walks over to Melissa and hands her a glass of water and some medicines. She takes them.

Spencer's POV. Melissa's Adam's Apple as she swallows her pills. Her mouth as she gulps in more water.

Her cellphone chimes. She looks at it. ONE NEW MESSAGE. She hits the open button. Two words:"Tempted Spence?" She gets lost in a world of thoughts.

VERONICA: Spencer?

Spencer jumps out of her thoughts.

SPENCER: Yes?

VERONICA: Everything okay?

Spencer looks hesitant.

SPENCER: Of course.

She fakes a smile.

29 INT. HANNA'S ROOM-EVENING. 29

Aria sits on the bed as Hanna sits in front of the mirror applying her make up.

ARIA: Do you think 'A' is back?

Hanna looks annoyed at Aria's question.

HANNA: Need I remind you 'A', a.k.a. Mona is locked up in Radley?

Aria looks scared.

ARIA: Still this couldn't have been someone else!

Hanna turns around and looks at Aria.

HANNA: Listen to me. What happened is completely between you, me and Spencer. Even Emily does not know about this. There's no way anyone else knows about it.

Aria still looks nervous.

Aria looks lost.

This thought frightens Hanna as well. She looks frightened. Then she shakes her head and smiles.

HANNA: It's probably just someone trying to mess with us. And trust me I've received a lot of messages like this one over the summer.

ARIA: So did I Hanna. But none of them seemed to be.. Real you know.

HANNA: Let's not talk about it anymore at all alright? Come here. I'll do your make up.

31 EXT. FIELDS HOUSE-DUSK. 31

Emily gets out of the front door, wearing a beautiful party dress. As she makes her way down to the front lawn, she hears someone banging a door. She looks up. We follow her gaze to Jenna's door. Garret is banging her door.

GARRET(shouts): Open up Jenna. We need to talk!

Emily gulps as she starts to make her way to Jenna's front door.

CUT TO:

32 EXT. CAVANAUGH HOUSE PORCH- DUSK. 32

Garret bangs the door again. We see Emily is now standing behind Garret.

EMILY: Everything okay?

Garret turns around. He sneers at Emily.

GARRET: Emily. You're the last person I'd expect to come up and talk to me.

EMILY: I normally wouldn't Garret but I see you're disturbing Jenna.

Garret closes in on Emily. She starts to step back.

GARRET: I have pressing matters to discuss with her. It's none of your business.

EMILY: She's not home.

Garret's smile turns into a frown.

GARRET: And you know that how?

The door opens. Noel comes out, dressed in a suit.

NOEL: What the hell do you want Garret?

Garret starts to walk towards the front door and into the house but is pushed back by Noel.

GARRET: Let me go in you bastard!

NOEL : Fuck off Garret!

Jenna steps out onto the front porch, all dressed up for the party. She has her glasses on, stick on her hands.

JENNA: You don't need to come in. Say what you have to here.

Garret smiles. Emily gulps down her fright. Noel looks all ready for a fight.

33 EXT. CAVANAUGH HOUSE PORCH- DUSK. 33

GARRET: Why did you turn me in?

Jenna smiles.

NOEL: You don't have to answer him Jenna.

GARRET: We're having a proper conversation over here! Don't turn this into something that it is not.

Noel looks at Garret with a resentful look.

EMILY: Stop it you all.

JENNA: I turned you in because you rightfully deserved it Garret. You deserved to be inside the prison after all that you had done. Garret looks at Jenna, smiling at her psychotically. It slowly turns into a loud laugh.

GARRET: Says the girl who sexually abused her step brother. Noel turns back and looks at Jenna, shocked at this revelation. Jenna grits her teeth.

GARRET (CONT'D): Should I go on Jenna? Your list of crimes is a pretty long one.

Jenna lifts her stick and points it to Garret's direction.

JENNA: My crimes are nothing compared to the fact that not only did you kill Ali and Maya, you also tried to kill me!

Garret looks at Jenna seriously all his smile fading away. Emily looks surprised. Noel's anger intensifies.

JENNA(screams): You tried to burn me down Garret and don't you dare deny it!

GARRET: You're just basing this on your speculations!

JENNA: I know it was you Garret and I have proof. Now leave me alone or else I'll not hesitate to send you back to your jail cell.

Garret looks scared. But he does not leave.

GARRET: You're lying. You can't have proof. I did not set the house on fire. You can't have proof.

JENNA: You sound shaken. So you do believe that I have proof.

Garret closes in on Jenna. Noel comes in between them pushing Garret away.

EMILY: Did you set the house on fire Garret?

Garret scratches his head and his cheeks.

GARRET(shouts): Yes! Yes! Yes! But it was meant for Jason. Then I saw Jenna going in and she had broken up with me by that time and she knew too much so I thought why not get rid of her as well?

EMILY: Why would you want to kill Jason?

GARRET: Why wouldn't I try to kill Jason is a better question. HE RUINED EVERYTHING! EVERYTHING!

EMILY: What are you talking about? And I thought you did all the guilty works for Jenna. What did she have against you?

GARRET: She recorded every conversation we ever had. I did not know this until after we broke up.

Noel pulls out his phone and presses a few button. Garret's confession plays on his phone. Garret turns pale. Emily looks confused.

NOEL: Now you know we have proof. Get your ass off this porch. We have to go to a party.

Garret looks at Noel with an angry look.

GARRET: This is not over.

Noel laughs.

NOEL: For you it is!

Garret runs away into the darkness. Emily's gaze tries to follow him, but soon he disappears.

34 EXT. MARIN HOUSE- DUSK. 34

Caleb stands leaning against his car. The front door of Hanna's house opens and Hanna steps out, her blond wavy hair openly falling over her beautiful red dress. Her lips coated in red lipstick smiles widely at Caleb. She walks towards him, in her high heels.

CALEB: The earrings look amazing on you.

Hanna smiles and kisses him. Long and passionate. Someone behind them coughs. They break apart and turn around. Regina Marin, also dressed in red, stands behind them.

HANNA: Oh hey grandma!

Regina smiles.

REGINA: Mind giving me a lift to this party you all are going to?

Hanna almost starts to speak when..

CALEB: Sure. It'd be my pleasure.

The happiness on Regina's face cannot be over exaggerated.

REGINA: Excellent!

Hanna purses her lips.

A mysterious blond gets into a BMW ROADSTER. Harold Crane knocks on the window. It is rolled down. Harold has a creepy look on his face.

HAROLD: Where are you headed, Vivian?

BLONDE WOMAN: Rosewood. Some girls want to meet me.

Harold smiles creepily.

HAROLD: How do you think certain people will react to your sight?

BLONDE WOMAN: Do I care? And besides Jessica DiLaurentis and her family no longer resides there.

Harold's face turns gloomy.

HAROLD (creepily): What about Jason?

We linger on to his somewhat lifeless face as he waits for an answer and then...

36 EXT. MONTGOMERY HOUSE-DUSK. 36

Aria sits on the swing outside when Mike arrives home. He looks lost in his world when Aria calls out to him.

ARIA: So, how was your day?

MIKE: Pathetic.

Aria looks worried.

ARIA: Anything you want to tell me?

Mike has his hands on the door but puts it down. A car pulls in.

MIKE: No.

He looks back. Spencer Hastings and Emily Fields wait in the car.

ARIA: Okay then. I'll see you later.

Before opening the door and going in, Mike catches Emily's eyes. He stares at her for sometimes. She does the same. They smile at each other.

37 INT. SPENCER'S CAR- DUSK. 37

Emily shifts her gaze as Mike shuts the door. Aria and Spencer notice this and Spencer looks at Aria in a way that says "What is going on between them?" Aria shoots back a look at her that seems to say " I just noticed."

EMILY: You guys Garret tried to burn down Jenna and Jason!

SPENCER: Wait what?!

ARIA: How do you know?

38 EXT. GOLF FIELD-NIGHT. 38

Hanna stands biting her nail, looking distraught. We pull back and see Emily, Spencer, Aria and her standing in a circle.

HANNA: I cannot believe it. You guys I thought after Mona was taken away to Radley, we could go back to being normal again.

Emily looks down.

ARIA: As if Garret's return was not enough, now some creepy stalker has started to stalk us!

Spencer and Emily looks at her, surprised at her statement.

SPENCER: Wait what?

HANNA: Not again Aria!

EMILY: Maybe she is right!

Spencer looks like she is about to refute Emily but then realization floods her face.

SPENCER: Are you guys getting notes again?

Emily shakes her head. So does Aria. Hanna simply looks away.

HANNA: Unbelieveable! You guys Mona is, was, 'A' and she is in Radley! Why are we all of a sudden worried about texts when we've getting thousands of them since last spring?

Spencer looks down, trying to conjure up an answer.

ARIA: Cause this time, they are actually threatening and real!

Emily looks away at the party across. The yellow light glowing in the dark. People laughing, dancing! Spencer and Hanna looks at her suspiciously. Aria watches as a figure approaches them.

Samara Cook walks towards the girls, waving at Emily. Spencer, Hanna and Emily steps back giving Emily space to talk with Samara.

SAMARA: Hey Emily!

Emily tries to smile.

EMILY: He..Hey!

SAMARA: I heard what happened. I'm so sorry.

Emily looks down, trying to avoid eye contact with Samara. We see Samara looking uncomfortably at Emily, then at the Liars and then back to Emily. Emily looks at her.

EMILY: What are you doing here?

Samara smiles.

SAMARA: My family moved to Rosewood. I'll be going to Rosewood High for my senior year.

EMILY: That..That's..That's great!

We move away, giving them space to talk. Slowly walking backwards, we stand beside the other liars.

SPENCER: So are we saying 'A's back?

ARIA: Not only 'A' a lot of people are back.

HANNA: For the last time, A is not back.

SPENCER: What's your grandmother doing here?

Hanna looks at Spencer as if the answer to what she just ask is obvious.

HANNA: Partying, duh!

Spencer's eyebrows rise.

ARIA: I'm gonna go and call Duncan. See where he is.

She starts to walk away leaving us with Hanna and Spencer.

HANNA: Who's Duncan again?

SPENCER: Vivian's pilot friend.

HANNA: Didn't know Aria's dating him or meeting him.

SPENCER: She's not.. Dating him. They have bonded over the last few months.

HANNA: I still cannot believe that Ezra left her to chase a job in L.A.

SPENCER: It's not like their relationship was gonna last anyway.

Loud music fills in as they enter the party floor. Naomi is having drinks with another girl, Riley Wolfe, her best friend. Hanna's grandmother is talking with lacrosse players, who look bored of her. She laughs loudly at her own joke. Caleb sneaks in and kisses Hanna. Spencer moves away. We see her shuffling though the crowd.

RILEY: Spencer Hastings! Just the girl I was looking for.

Spencer sarcastically smiles.

SPENCER: I wonder why?

Naomi snickers. Riley comes close to Spencer, their noses almost touching.

RILEY: Bad times are returning Spencer. And trust me soon all of our lives will become a nightmare.

Spencer's mood darkens. She looks at Riley surprised and scared of what she just said.

NAOMI: She is right Hastings.

SPENCER: Would you both mind getting to the point?

Riley's smile fades away. She becomes serious.

RILEY: Why I thought you'd understand. Guess you're not as smart as I thought you were.

NAOMI: There's a killer on the loose Spencer. And the police can do nothing when he starts killing again. A source tells me that you're on his hit list.

SPENCER: Are you guys talking about Garret?

They nod their heads.

RILEY: Duh! Who else would we be talking about?

SPENCER: Thank you for the warning, but if you're worried about Garret coming to crash the party, that won't happen. He will be looking at the spider web inside his jail cell before that will happen.

Spencer starts to walk away.

RILEY:You and I both know what he can and cannot do Spencer.

Spencer stops in her tracks. She turns around to look at Riley and Naomi. They look genuinely scared. She turns around. Gulps. Walks away, leaving us behind looking at Naomi snickering.

NAOMI: I cannot wait for her to confront Garret. It's gonna be fun.

RILEY: How can you be sure that she will confront him?

NAOMI: She's Spencer Hastings. Of course she will.

We pull away. Crowds of people. Caleb and Hanna laughing. Emily still talking with Samara. Spencer trying to call someone.

40 EXT. GOLF FIELD-NIGHT. 40

Aria stands away from the party trying to call someone. We hear..

DUNCAN (O.S.): Hey this is Duncan! You know what to do after the..

Beep! Aria looks concerned. She waits..

ARIA: Hey Duncan! I was wondering when you would...

A hand positions itself on Aria's shoulder. She turns around, her cellphone dropping from her hands. Her mouth opens to scream. The hand slams itself into her mouth. Muffled screams escapes from her mouth. She tries to break free as the arms of the unknown person try to keep her in their grip.

She gets dragged into the trunk of a car and is pushed into the trunk. Her head hits a sharp edge of the open trunk. She drops down, blood oozing out of her head. Eyes closed.

INT. PARTY HALL- NIGHT. 41 Spencer is still on the phone trying to call someone. Back view. She is isolated from other people. We close in. In a creepy manner. We shift our focus to see a pair of hands reaching out for Spencer's throat. Then they are put to rest over her shoulders as Toby Cavanaugh kisses her cheek from behind. Spencer gasps. Turns around. Smiles at Toby. They kiss. SPENCER: I didn't know you were coming back tonight! Toby smiles. TOBY: That's cause I'm only back for tonight and tomorrow. I'll be gone after tomorrow. Spencer looks sad. SPENCER: That's too bad. When will all this be over? TOBY: Hopefully by next week. Spencer hugs him. They break apart. SPENCER: I've been trying to get hold of Melissa. Garret visited her today. TOBY: I still cannot believe they let him go. SPENCER: I'm just scared that he might do something to Melissa or even Jenna. They had a fight before the party. Things got heated. TOBY: Is she okay? Was she hurt? SPENCER: See for yourself. Across them, Jenna stands with Noel, laughing. She has her sunglasses on, her stick by her side. TOBY: Wait. Why would she come to a party? SPENCER: Well this isn't the first time. She also went to the Masquerade Ball. Toby sighs. TOBY: You try to reach Melissa, I'll go and talk with Jenna. They kiss before Toby walks away. Spencer takes out her phone and dials a number. MELISSA (O.S.): Hi this is Melissa. I am currently too tired or busy to pick up the phone. Record your message after the beep and I'll try reaching out to you. SPENCER: Melissa listen to me. Don't get out of the house. Lock the doors and windows. I have a feeling Garret might come to you to get to me. I cannot explain but I have this feeling that... Just do as I say. Please. Spencer ends the call. Dramatic pause on her tense face. And then

42 INT. PARTY HALL- NIGHT. 42 FOCUS ON HANNA'S GRANDMOTHER. She sips a glass of wine from her glass. Hanna comes and sits beside her. REGINA: I haven't seen you this happy in a while I must say. Hanna smiles. She looks tired. HANNA: For some reason I'm scared to be happy grandma. I feel like if I am too much happy, something will destroy it. And I don't.. Regina puts her glass on a table beside her seat. Turns to Hanna.REGINA: Happiness is a warm puppy Hanna. It will lift you up and let it do that. Live in this moment. There might not be another one like this. Forget about the past and smile. Regina smiles. Hanna follows. Hanna hugs Regina. HANNA: I love you grandma. REGINA: Love you too sweetheart.

43 EXT. WOODS-NIGHT. 43 An unconscious Aria is being dragged away. ARIA'S POV. Blurry darkness. Trees. Sky.

We see her turning around, trying to make something out of her surroundings. The person in the black hoodie does not notice Aria until she screams. The person turns around, grabs her before she could speak at all. Muffled screams escape her mouth. QUICK SHOTS. -Garret Reynolds running through the woods. -Side view of another person in a black hoodie. -Side view of a person in a red coat catching Garret. Struggle. Groans.GARRET: I'll tell everyone what you've been doing. -Aria is tied to a tree by two black hoodies. -Her mouth is sealed off with a duct tape. -Red coat is wearing a mask that looks like Alison's face. It falls to the ground during the on going struggle. The person'sblonde hair covers up her face. -A black hoodie hits Garret on the head. The person hits him brutally more 5 times. Blood oozes out of his head. Eyes closed. Dead.

CUT TO:

44 INT. PARTY HALL- NIGHT. 44 Emily wanders along through the maze of crowd when suddenly Toby envelopes her into a hug. EMILY: Toby? Emily breaks into a smile. The break apart. TOBY: Well how are you doing? Emily hesitates. EMILY: Okay. TOBY: I heard Jenna had a fight with Garret. I wanted to talk to her, but she looks too busy with Noel. Emily looks around the crowd. We follow her gaze as it finds Jenna. Alone in the crowd. EMILY: Looks like she is free now. Toby shifts his focus towards Jenna. TOBY: I'll be back with you soon. EMILY: Take your time. Toby leaves Emily alone.

Emily looks around her when Spencer comes from behind her and grabs her hand. SPENCER: Have you seen Aria? Duncan's here and he's looking for her. EMILY: No. Did you try calling her? SPENCER: I did. Hanna comes running at them. HANNA: You guys I was just outside taking a call from my mom. And I found Aria's phone and purse on the ground.

She shows them Aria's belongings. SPENCER: You don't think this is Garret's work? EMILY: We should go looking for her. Before they can move, all of their phones ring, chimes, and beeps. The pull out their phones.SPENCER: It's a message from an unknown number. Emily looks worried. HANNA: I've got one to. CLOSE UP ON SPENCER'S PHONE. She presses read. So does Emily and Hanna. They are dumbfound when they see what the message is. Hanna finds the courage to read it out loud. HANNA:Want to save your friend? Meet at the woods behind the Rosewood cemetery in 10 minutes. Tick Tock. CLOSE UP ON HANNA'S PHONE. Under the message attached is a photo of Aria tied to a tree. She looks like she is in a bad condition. A really bad condition.

CUT TO:

45 INT. SPENCER'S DRIVING CAR-NIGHT. 45 The girls looked panicked. EMILY: Hurry up Spencer. Spencer accelerates. HANNA: So is this Garret or is this...? Emily closes her eyes. SPENCER: That is a rhetorical question. EMILY: So it's Garret? SPENCER: Who else can it be Em? 'A' is gone.

46 EXT. ROSEWOOD CEMETERY-NIGHT. 46 Spencer's car halts in a fucking hurry, almost running over us. The doors open as the three girls step out of the car. Hanna tosses out her heels. Emily and Spencer follows her move. ELEVATED VIEW. The three girls run, Emily the slowest, disappearing into the thick woods.

47 EXT. WOODS-NIGHT. 47 Aria is tied to a tree trying to break free. The entire place is empty except for Aria and Garret's dead body lying on the ground. QUICK SHOTS: - Spencer, Hanna and Emily running through the wood. - New text received. The gather around to look. This time it is a map. The message reads: "Go there!" - Tears roll down Aria's cheeks. - Spencer, Emily and Hanna arrive at the scene. Gasp to see Garret dead. Frees Aria. They hug.

48 EXT. WOODS-NIGHT. 48 Before breaking apart, their phones start ringing. They pull out their phones. Spencer reads it aloud for us. SPENCER: I've done half the work. Now it's your turn to do the rest. Bury him or go to jail. Kisses, Your Best Friend. CLOSE UP VIEW-SPENCER'S PHONE- The pictures of the 4 liars around Garret's body accompanies the message. HANNA: I cannot believe this. ARIA: I think we can finally say it out loud that 'A' is back because I saw three of them myself, dumping the body, digging the grave and kidnapping me. Emily's expressions turn grim. Spencer is frozen in her place. Hanna does not know what to think.SPENCER: So we're saying that an entire team is out there, spying on us? Please tell me this is a nightmare.EMILY: This is very much a reality Spencer. We linger as the girls try to process what they just realized. THEN...

A reporter stands in front of her crew.

REPORTER 4: Garret Reynolds just tried to murder Aria Montgomery, and would have died if her friends were not brave enough to face the vicious Lady Killer and save her.

We revolve around as the police take the statements of the girls. Inaudible voices. Coldplay's Gravity plays in the background.

Veronica, Pam, Ashley, Regina, Peter, Ella, Byron, Duncan, Toby and Caleb are also in the crowd, being questioned by the reporters. We focus on the four girls, now standing together in a corner, the three of them comforting Aria. Ella and Byron breaks through the sea of reporters and policemen and hugs Aria. They don't look uncomfortable. Pam rushes towards Emily and envelopes her in an embrace. Ashley and Regina walks up to Hanna and they exchange quick hugs. Melissa arrives in the scene and walks to Spencer. The Hastings family hugs.

Aria breaks through, crying, as she walks towards Duncan and hugs him. They break apart and Aria kisses him. He kisses her back. Spencer is now with Toby and she smiles at Aria and Duncan. Hanna walks up to Caleb and he puts his coat over her.

Wilden stands in the middle of the crowd, giving his reoprt.

WILDEN: The search for Garret Reynolds is ongoing. We promise to catch him quickly and that there's nothing to fear. The Rosewood PD is now stronger than ever and we will bring him to justice. Thank you.

We see Emily standing in a corner with Pam. We move through her eyes and discover what she is thinking of.

FLASH TO:

50 INT. ULTRASONOGRAM ROOM, ROSEWOOD HOSPITAL-NIGHT. 50

Emily sits as the doctors type in her reports. After a few seconds, the nurse walks up to Emily. She has a sweet smile on her face.

NURSE: The ulcer is not bothering you Ms. Fields. You're pregnant! Congratulations.

Emily looks like someone hit her hard on the face. Utter shock reverberates through her.

EMILY: I'm sorry what did you say?

NURSE: You're pregnant.

EMILY: You're making a mistake. I.. Can't.. Be..

NURSE: We are completely sure.

Emily stammers something. She slowly stands up, but it looks like she is loosing herself. Looks like she is fading away.

FLASH TO:

51 EXT. ROSEWOOD CEMETERY-NIGHT. 51

The Liars stand together side by side now. Emily looks lost.

HANNA: You okay Em?

Emily snaps back to the present. She fixes her hair.

EMILY: Yeah. I'm fine.

All of a sudden their phones start chiming. Aria looks into Spencer's phone as her one is pretty dead and reads out the message aloud.

ARIA: Good Girls! Hold on tight bitches, cause this ride is gonna get really crazy. Kisses, -A.

We leave them in the crowd, elevating upwards until the screen is filled with the dark night sky. We elevate downwards.

52 EXT. ROSEWOOD BORDER LINE-NIGHT. 52

A BMW ROADSTER drive past the Welcome To Rosewood sign.

53 INT. BMW ROADSTER-NIGHT. 53

A mysterious blond is driving the car. We zoom into her bag from which an ID card is exposed out enough for us to catch a name. CeCe Drake, the card reads. We move over to the picture on the card, showing a face very much similar to that of Alison's. They look so alike that one could pass away as the other.

54 EXT. ROSEWOOD BORDER LINE-NIGHT. 54

The car drive away as the song reaches to it's end, leaving us alone at the border. We now have some place else to explore.
