She's gone. She's really gone.

He can't find her. He can't find her anywhere.

Not here—not there—not anywhere.

She's not there anymore.

Where is she? Where did she go? Why did she leave…?

"Why?"

He crouches, alone, clutching close the one thing he has left of her.

"Sesshomaru-sama?"

If he lets go now, he will never be able to feel her again.

"Sesshomaru-sama…"

Small hands wrap around his waist, but he ignores them, sinking lower and deeper into his despair.

"Where is she?"

Her face… it's burned into his mind.

"Where are you/"

"Sesshomaru-sama, you have to get up."

That voice… could it be? He whispers her name aloud, grasping at some faraway hope.

A small wetness appears on his face from above, like a soft drop of rain.

He says it again.

"Is it really you…?"

There's no answer, but he knows in the place where his heart used to be that it's true. He gives a gasping sob and holds her tightly, breathing in her sweet scent.

"Kagura…" He sighs her name, like a feather floating on a gentle wind.

Rin lifts her head to the sky, holding her master in her arms.

She cries.

{A/N: Yeah... so... I wrote this in a burst on inspiration in about 3 minutes... *laughs nervously* Rin's obviously older now, probably about sixteen... Basically, Sesshomaru is so driven to insanity by Kagura's death that he can't even tell her apart from Rin. :D... :'( ... I can't believe I'm *sniffs* crying over my own story *grumbles*}
