Pissed Pants

It was the first expedition for both Petra and Auruo and while they thought they were ready to go out and kill titans if needed, they were disappointed and annoyed when they were told to stay near each other in case something happened while camp was being set up.

"And remember, no fighting during the expedition. It'll only become a pain in the ass." Levi had told them.

Now here they were, just the two of them, somewhere in the forest, doing just the opposite of what they had been told.

"All I'm saying is that I am the best there is so I should be the one who gets to stay with Levi Heichou!" Auruo yelled cockily.

"Stop being so in love with yourself! You are nowhere near good enough to stay next to Heichou! You can't even go for a hour without biting your tongue!" Petra argued as she shoved him, also proving her point as Auruo ended up biting his tongue again, hard enough to draw blood.

They were so caught up in one another that they didn't notice a titan as it appeared from behind a group of trees, it's eyes fixed on them.

Only when a voice shouted "Look out!" did they notice it as it was already reaching for them.

Out of fear they grabbed onto each other, unable to move and knowing that even if they could, it was already too late.

Suddenly there was a flash and the Titan collapsed.

"Levi Heichou!" they cried out in unison upon seeing the short man swiftly killing the monster that had almost eaten them.

"What the hell do you think you're doing? I told you that fighting of yours would only become a pain in the ass, didn't I?" Levi scolded as he landed on his feet.

"Are you alright? Are you hu-" Levi didn't finish his usual questioning whenever he saved someone, instead his jaw dropped at what he was seeing.

A few minutes later Hanji was laughing her head off while Levi scowled while cleaning his swords from the titan's blood as they walked back to camp with a crying Petra and Auruo following them.

Why were they crying?

Both out of relief and embarrassment.

Relief for the fact they had been saved and didn't die and embarrassment because they had… pissed their pants.

Sure, they had been terrified when it happened but it was still embarrassing and they had a feeling Hanji was going to tell everyone about it.

"Oi." Levi suddenly said as he turned to face them and they quickly snapped at attention.

"What have we learned today?" he asked, sounding like a father lecturing his kids, something that didn't help the embarrassment much but they answered anyway.

"Not to fight during expeditions."

"Good. Now go and get changed. Those clothes are disgusting and they're starting to smell too." he ordered and he didn't need to repeat himself as the two soldiers quickly run off to their tents.

"Well, at least we have something to tell during diner now, right?" Hanji chirped happily.

"Something tells me you're enjoying this a bit too much." Levi replied.

Hanji simply laughed even more and wrapped an arm around her friend's shoulders as they continued walking.
