This is my very first fan-fic. I love to write but am not sure if I'm good at it so I tried a poem first.
As I watch her sleep
I can tell how exhausted she is
From all those nights kept awake
By her worries and her hopes
By her 'what ifs'
And by her 'could bes'.
As I watch her sleep
I can imagine her thoughts
Spinning around and around
Inside her head
But I cannot read her mind
Only God knows why.
As I watch her sleep
I hope she knows
Just how special she is
How much I care about her
And how much I wish
That we can be together.
As I watch her sleep
I sob quietly
But no tears fall
Reminding me of what I am
That we can never be together
Unless I want to ruin her life.
As I watch her sleep
I hope she'll never know
How unlucky she is
To have stolen the heart
Of a soulless creature
A monster.
