This is to the late Monty. You truly created an amazing anime and characters that won't be forgotten.

"Maybe someday, the creatures of the Grimm will be gone forever. Maybe peace will finally happen and the four kingdoms will stop fighting," he sighed, as she laid in his arms. His blue eyes shone with hope towards a better tomorrow. He looked down at her, staring into her green eyes as he brushed away a stray hair from her face.

"These combat school they are building, some say it's the bridge that will unite the kingdoms. Give them a common ground, and give us all a chance against the creatures of Grimm," he continued, "these hunters and huntress… warriors trained in the use of aura. Maybe we can finally leave the battlefield then and be together."

"One can dream right," she sighed. Her lips met his and once again she tried to forget the war raging outside her doors.

This was third time that Pyrrha saw Jaune's face in her dreams. At least she thought it was him, but she wasn't even sure herself. The man in her dreams was different, his face aged with a tiredness, caused by a life filled with fighting and bloodshed. Both men had the endless blue eyes and hair the colour of the sun, but only one looked at her with love. It hurt how real it felt, and how much her body could feel the warm of being in that man's arms. She touched her lips and could feel the lingering of his lips.

She felt the silent tears fall down her face, knowing that it was a dream. She knew that Jaune did not love her like the man in her dreams. She had watched over the years as he went on dates after dates with different women. Each time her heart breaking as he would express his "new found love" with each girl he chased. She bit her lip as she wiped the tears. She had to be strong, and never let her mask break.

She was thankful that she always woke before her team mates, and that no one had witnessed her tears. Silently she walked over to the washroom and readied herself for the day.

"Pyrrha, you have a duty to the people. Don't let you emotions overtake you, you are a servant to the greater good. This is what you were born to do," her mother's voice echoed in her head. She splashed the water in her face as she painted her smile once again. Pulling her hair into its usual style, she took another deep breath and tried to forget the dreamland that she craved.

Exiting the washroom, Pyrrha saw that Nora had woken and how was watching Ren's sleeping form. She could see Nora's scheming smile on how she would wake the sleeping Ren. She couldn't help but smile at the two's relationship. It was simply such a pure love. It was the simple look in there eyes that they gave to each other that proved more than any public affection could. She then turned her attention to the other sleeping male in the room, Jaune.

"Seraphina," he murmured in his sleep, "I love y-" He rolled over before he could finish, but it was more than enough to break her heart. She wanted to run, she wanted to punch out a wall, anything to get the anger and sadness out. She wished she had never met this blonde man, she wished he didn't steal her heart, and she wished she could forget about him. She let her bangs to fall over her face as she grabbed Milo and Akouo. She would not cry this time, as her grip tighten around her weapons.

"Pyrrha," whispered Nora.

"I'll see you later Nora. I'm just going out," said Pyrrah, "I'll see everyone in class later."

She left before Nora could reply, and slammed the door behind her. She ran as fast as she could to get as far from him. "Why is the world so cruel? Why doesn't he see me?" she asked herself, as she made it to the roof of Beacon.

"Yahh!" She screamed, as Milo landed another blow on the training dummy, as she let her fighting instincts take over.

"Well, good morning Miss Nikos. I see you're up early practicing. It's nice to know that even the most talented students we have still have motivation to train so early in the morning."

"Good morning Headmaster," she bowed.

"You seemed troubled," as he looked at the beaten dummy, "May I inquire why?"

"It's…" she paused, "a recurring theme I've had in my dreams. It been quite unsettling. It just feels so real, and yet I know it's nothing close to the reality I live it."

"They say dreams are mirrors. Reflections of our soul's desires, and fragments of our subconscious," he spoke, "and some even say that its memories of past lives."

"Past lives?"

"It's been said that people who pass from this world are reincarnated and that dreams are pieces of their memories being relived." Ozpin explained, shifting his glasses as he spoke, "I hope that dreams won't continue to plague you Miss Nikos. If so I suggest that you find the deeper meaning behind them."

She watched as he turned and left her standing, pondering on his last few words. Once again she tighten her grip around Miko, as she threw more blows to the dummy.

"Memories, eh?" she wondered, but it didn't matter in her mindset. Jaune was in love with another women, and nothing she had done before attracted his attention. Whether these dreams be "memories" or her deepest desires, she only wished that her heart would stop aching every time she saw him.

"She's so tiny," he cooed, "and beautiful. Just like her mother. I still can't believe that we created this" He smiled largely at the newborn in his arms. The babe yawned as her blue eyes stared at her father.

"Yes, she's our little angel," she whispered, leaning her head on his shoulder.

"What should we name her?" he asked.

"I dunno, the names we picked beforehand, they just don't suit her,"

"How about Adena?"

"Adena?"

"It means flames. Just like you. She brings life to us, like you do to me."

"It's perfect, Giallo." She smiled and met his lips for a chaste kiss.

"Long ago, before we met,

I dreamed about you.

The peace you'd bring.

The songs we'd sing.

The way you'd make things new."

"Then one day, you arrived.

I heard your angel cry.

Helpless, small, and perfect,

Welcome to your life."

"And on that day, I made a vow.

Whispered and true.

No matter what, no matter how,

I made this promise to you."

"I will cling, I will clutch,

I'll hold onto you, I won't turn away.

I won't leave, I won't go,

I will stay with you all our days."

They both sang gently to the babe, as she fell asleep in her father's arms. He smiled as he softly placed her back into the crib. Slowly everything faded to darkness as she soon realized that it was once again a cruel dream of her desires.

"Damnit, how did I know his name" she whispered, as she felt light piercing through her closed eyelids. Slowly she got up for the wash room and once again readied herself for the day. Her heart still fluttering at the through of this man, and more confusion now that she dreamt of a family life with this man. The man in her dreams, she now knew she loved as much as the man that sleep just a few feet away from her.

"Maybe I should just let my dreams consume me, and live in reality where my love is reciprocated. Who knows maybe this here is the dream world, and I just haven't woken up yet," she sighed knowing that her thoughts were driven by the reality she now lived in.

"Pyrrha, are you okay?" questioned Nora who stood outside the doorway, as she stared at the disheartened girl.

"Oh, good morning Nora, and yes I'm fine," she paused, "just nightmares. I'll be fine."

"Pyrrha, if this is about Jaune, you can talk to me about it. I'm here for you."

"It's okay Nora, I just need time and space from him. I'll be fine… I promise."

"He cares deeply about you and you guys pretty much stopped training together, and he's getting worried. And the last few months you've been avoiding him."

"Since I found out he was whispering words of love to another women. I know it's not my business who he is with. But it hurts too much to be around him, knowing that he'll never see me that way. Besides he's far out grown the need for me to train him. It's been three years since we started and he's proven that he belongs here. As he spends his time chasing other women, I'll spend my time becoming a huntress."

She spoke through her mask, as she tried her best to not to show the hurt that she felt. Her face remained emotionless as she grabbed her weapons from her storage.

"But, Pyrrha…"

"Nora, I know you're worried about me, but I'm fine. I just need time to let my feelings go and to move on." She turned away and exited the dorm, leaving Nora inside. With heavy shoulders she walked down the hallway.

"I will cling, I will clutch, and I'll hold onto you, I won't turn away. I won't leave, I won't go, I will stay with you all our days," she silently sang, knowing that moving on wasn't as simple as she spoke of. This time she exited Beacon's dorms, knowing she needed to be far from her teammate's presences.

Another rip sounded through the forest as she made another rip into the training dummy. She smiled as she felt her sword land blow after blow. She knew she had to focus and let her feelings go. She was born to be a warrior and to defend those who could not. With each blow she started to let her worries and sadness go, and let her emotionless mask fuse upon her face.

"Wow, you're going to have nothing left on that dummy soon. Like seriously, I think its shreds now."

She knew that voice, and wanted so badly not to turn to face it. "Damnit Jaune, why now. Can't I just have a moment to forget?" she thought.

"Ya, I guess so huh,"

"Hey since we are out here, why not a sparring match? It's been awhile and I really want to see how I match up,"

"Of course, Jaune."

She took a deep breath and painted a smile upon her face. Slowly she turned towards him with Miko and Akouo. She readied her stance and stared at his eyes, hoping that he wouldn't see the sadness within them.

Blow by blow she landed but he managed to meet her attacks. "He's grown a lot since our first fight, he was barely able to use a sword let alone using a shield." She reminisced, as she used her polarity to shift his sword blow slightly as she countered back.

He managed to stop her attack barely using his aura to repel her back. She smirked as she knew he would counter with his aura. "It's amazing how much control he's gotten since his aura was released, but its time to end this."

As he tried to land another blow, she blocked with Akouo and with one swift leg sweep she had him to the floor. Miko shone as the blade pointed at his neck.

"Geez, I thought that I could last long this time. I keep forgetting just how strong you are," sighed Jaune. She lowered her stance and offered him a hand up. He smiled widely at her as their hands lingered for an extra moment.

"You've grown immensity Jaune. You've long ago proven that you deserved a spot here in Beacon. If you keep growing like this, it won't be long till you can beat me in a fight," she commented. Despite the heart ache she felt, she knew she would always feel pride for her pupil's growth.

"Well I'll never be as good as you Pyrrha," his hand scratching his head, "you're truly an amazing warrior."

Her eyes widen at the genuineness of his comment, and she let a real smile break through her mask. "Thanks, Jaune."

"Let's go back inside. I'm exhausted… man I could use a nap," he sighed.

"Ya, I agree, I need lunch myself,"

They walked together through the hallways as she tried to keep her thoughts away from the sadness and heartbreak. She just simply wanted to enjoy his company, and forget the love she had towards him.

"That's a really pretty tune you're humming," commented Jaune.

"Oh, what?!" She hadn't realized she had been humming that lullaby the entire time. She blushed as they entered the dorm and she put down her weapons.

"Ya, it's a song that my mother sang to me," she lied, there was no other way it could be explained to him, and not sound crazy because it came from her dreams.

"Oh, it has lyrics?!"

"Ya…" She realized too late.

"How does it go?"

"Well… I'm not a singer or anything. It's kind of embarrassing really…"

"Aww Pyrrha, we're best friends. There's nothing to be embarrassed about. Please…."

"You promise you won't laugh?"

"I promise,"

"Okay," she took a deep breath and turned away from him as he sat on his bed. She closed her eyes, remembering the lyrics. Softly each word came out and she felt a sense of familiarity as she sang. "And though I miss the little girl, you've made me awful proud. Funny how our lives change, 'Cause you're my hero now."

As she finished, she turned back to see his eyes look widely at her, as shock was painted on his face.

"Pyrrha…that song….you..." he stuttered for a moment, trying to gain his posture. He coughed and cleared his throat, "you… sang so beautifully. You could easy give Weiss a run for her money. I mean wow, like seriously. I never knew you could sing. "

"Thank you Jaune. I didn't think that I was good singer," she blushed.

She watched as he got up and approached her. Next thing she knew he had wrapped her in a warm embrace. Her arms returned the embrace, as she let herself indulge in the moment.

"Thanks for everything today Pyrrha. I feels like over two hundred years since we've hung out or trained or anything. I felt like I was losing you."

"Jaune… I" she paused, "Should I come clean to him and just tell him?"

"Oh…shit, it that the time?" He let go of there embrace as he pointed to the clock on the wall. He quickly picked up his wallet and threw his weapons into storage. "I've got a date like in ten minutes. Sorry I've got to go Pyrrha."

"No worries, I'll see you around," she hid the cracking in her voice, as her heart was once again broken. She watched as he left the dorm and she waited till his footsteps couldn't be heard. She sat down on her bed and brought her knees to her chest and let the tears flow freely from her eyes.

"Miss Nikos… you are saying you want to resign from Beacon? I do not understand. You have less than a year left and your grades are outstanding. I see no reason for your departure?" spoke Goodwich. Pyrrha sat across the table with her head lowered. She knew that was the last straw and that leaving was the only way she could keep what's left of her sanity.

"It's a combination of personal issues and family issues. I feel that I need to attend another school closer to home. This school has truly been an amazing experience and the lessons I have learned are invaluable."

"I see… Well before I can take you resignation I require you that you make arrangements with your team members to follow up on any responsibilities or commitments that you may have."

"Yes I understand,"

She left the office and sighed. Her plan was to leave as soon as possible, but Goodwich was right. She still had duties to her team members that she couldn't leave behind. She only hoped that Nora or Ren was in the dorm and that a quick conversation would be enough for her to leave. She didn't want to say goodbye, she had planned to leave and write letters apologizing her for unexpected departure.

"At least Jaune is still on his date," she thought. He was the last person she wanted to speak too and explain why she was leaving.

She knocked on the dorm door and no one answered. "Well it looks like I'll have find Nora later. At least I'll pack up the last of my things and get ready to do." She entered the dorm and turned on the lights. As her eyes adjusted to the lights, she realized that she wasn't alone. Her hands tightened as she realized a certain blonde was passed out on his bed.

"For heaven's sake, of course it's you," she softly cursed. "You know what, I'll just buy all new things when I get home." She gently grabbed her weapons and was about to turn away when she heard him mumble in his sleep.

"Rose…." He groaned, "You're so beautiful… I love…"

"You have to be kidding me?! How many girlfriends do you have…. You selfish bastard," she cried. She knew she couldn't hold back this time, as she dropped her weapons. Tears flowed freely from her eyes. "That's it, I'm leaving. I don't care anymore." She turned to pick up her dropped weapons and was about to step away when she heard his voice.

"Pyrrha?," mumbled Jaune, "What's going on? I heard loud noises,"

"Nothing Jaune, go back to bed. You want to look good for your girlfriends tomorrow" her back turn against him but her voice was choked by her tears.

"Girlfriends? Pyrrha I can hear you're crying. Please tell me what's wrong." He begged, as he got up, closing the distance between them.

"It's you Jaune," she couldn't hold back now, "I can't be near you anymore."

"Why Pyrrah? Is it because I'm wea-"

"Jaune you know it's not cause of weakness… You could never push me away because of that…"

"Then why?"

"It's because I love you Jaune…." her voice was growing angry as she finally revealed her true feelings. She looked straight into his eyes, her expression filled with anger.

"And you don't see it. Do you know how much it hurts to be around knowing that you love someone else? For the last three years I've been forced to put a smile on my face as you reject me? I heard you sleep talking about your love for this "Seraphina" girl or "Rose". Hell… It's gotten so bad the last few months my dreams became haunted with you. I started wishing that I wouldn't wake up cause in those dreams you loved me back, or at least the man that looks like you. I swear I'm going crazy and that I'm losing every last bit of my sanity because of you. You know that song I sung to you? It doesn't exist… it was just another figment of my messed up imagination, dreaming of being with you. Hoping for a future that never existed in the first place."

She turned to leave as she felt the anger subsiding and sadness running through her veins. She didn't care if she left it all behind, there was no turn back now.

"Good bye Jaune,"

"Pyrrah… you're wrong," he said coldly, his voice marked with pain. "That song does exist. It was sang every night to a wonderful little girl named Adena. She grew to have her mother's beautiful long red hair and kept the wonder her bright blue eyes."

"How did…did… you know her name…" she stuttered.

"Because 200 years ago my wife Seraphina would sing it to our little girl as she slept. Seraphina was a women with unparalleled talent as a warrior but always dreamt of a world with no war or bloodshed. There was no other soul like hers, and together we brought peace between the four kingdoms. Those dreams you have been having are memories of your life as my partner, as my lover, as my wife. Pyrrah… you're Seraphina."

"You…mean…."her voice filled with disbelief.

"Yes… 200 years ago I lived my life as the man known as "Giallo" and you lived as Seraphina."

"Jaune…"

And her world went black.

Authors Note: I was listening to RWBY soundtrack volume 2 and got inspired from the song (All Our Days) and pounded this story in one sitting but I just couldn't stop. Decided to do this as a two-shot the other part will be upload ASAP. Hope you guys like it. I realize the characters are OCC. Reviews would be much loved! Thanks!
