Nightmare.
A young female hedgehog tossed over in her bed. The wind blew violently against the window pane, making it rattle loudly. The bedclothes were twisted around the hedgegirl's body, trapping her sleeping figure, though she twisted and turned and made the bonds tighter. The girl suddenly whimpered in her sleep, before her eyes shot open and she let out a fully-fledged scream.
Shadow the Hedgehog woke up with a start. Kiara was screaming, so he went to see what the matter was. He found her sobbing raggedly, her blankets wrapped around her distressed form.
"What happened?" Shadow asked his daughter.
"I h-had a b-bad d-dream. An alien monster said h-he w-was c-coming to g-get me." Kiara sobbed.
"What did the alien monster look like?" Shadow asked.
"H-horrible. It had th-three eyes, really d-dirty clothes, his voice sounded gravel being shredded in an echoey room, I-it was really d-deep, h-his head looked like a t-T, a-and it f-floated, and he had chains with funny pictures on the ends." Kiara said with a shudder.
"Don't worry, he isn't real, it's just your mind being silly and playing tricks on you." Shadow reassured her.
"Being silly." Kiara repeated.
"And if an alien monster ever came to get you, I'd scare him away." Shadow said.
"And Mom." Kiara added.
"And your mom." Shadow said.
He smirked at the thought of Black Doom getting the bejeezus whacked out of him with Amy's piko-piko hammer.
"Your mother would use her hammer on him, and he'd look like the gooey stuff coming out of your favourite pop tarts when she was done with him." Shadow joked.
"I don't want to eat alien flavoured pop tarts! Yuck!" Kiara said, giggling.
"Do you think you can go back to sleep now?" Shadow asked.
"Yes, Daddy." Kiara said, still giggling.
I have another reason for Shadow to say Black Doom is a pop tart.
Some people call their grandfathers Poppy, Pop-Pop etc. And Black Doom is technically Kiara's grandfather, so Pop Tarts! LOL.
