I am apparently still alive, though I haven't been writing fanfiction for a long, long time. This is a response to the mysticfearling prompt on RFA Amino, where you can find me under the name Rae. The themes?
Darkness - What dwells within the shadows
Fear - Delve into the abyss and it will consume you
Monster - Embodiment thereof; what is Beast and what is Man?
Forgive me, God Seven.

He came to her sometimes. She didn't really know who he was, but even when she couldn't see him she sensed him watching from the shadows. A phantom? A memory? When she caught glimpses he looked so much like her angel. The hair was darker and the demeanor was different, but that face...
Sometimes she woke up crying a name that felt familiar.
Saeyoung.
Saeyoung.
Saeyoung.
Sometimes her angel had to hurt her to save her from the nightmares. Pressing her weak fingers against the flutters of blue and purple on her skin reminded her how much she was loved. That she was cared for.
"Take your medicine. Then you'll be happy again."
But her angel was gone on a mission now. He would be back for his princess. Just not soon enough to save her from the dreams this time.
A flash of red hair, a hand reaching out for hers.
"No! Don't take me away!"
He was stronger than her. He wanted to take her back to that awful world of pain and lies and heartbreak. Take her away from her angel, her Savior.
"I love you. I promised I'd save you. Please let me save you!"
The vase was in her hands before she knew it. She couldn't remember the feeling, but she couldn't bury the sound of it connecting against him.
And in the blur of blood and tears and terror she kept going.
"You lied to me!" Again.
"You said you loved me!" Again.
"You left me here!" Again.
This time when her angel returned he gave her more pills. He promised they would make her happy but she didn't feel much of anything through the haze.
Late at night she would still wake sometimes, thinking there was something she'd forgotten to remember.
But it was okay.
She was in paradise, afterall.
