In Defense of His Family by HPFangirl71
Malfoy pushed Severus against the stone wall of the public restroom. He was furious, the look upon his face making that quite obvious. Severus seemed oddly calm. Two men who had been within the room's confines fled before they could be caught within the fray.
"I want to know what the hell is going on between you and my son." Lucius spat out at him.
"Dear Lucius, whatever dealings I have with Draco are none of your business! He's a full grown man now." Severus informed him in a cold voice that implied everything but yielded nothing.
Lucius slapped the man across the face and then pushed the tip of his cane into the fleshy part of Snape's throat. He wanted to force that cold smirk on his face to disappear forever. The rumors going around couldn't be true but if they were, he wanted this man to pay dearly.
"You may be a conquering hero to the Wizarding world but that gives you no right to touch my son!"
Lucius was having a hard time containing the anger that seethed within him. Snape looked up into his dark eyes and laughed.
"Oh yes it does Lucius… It gives me every right and you know it."
He and Snape had once been friends but that was gone with their common cause, there was no semblance of that man here now. He could take him turning traitor and even forgive him becoming Potter's yes man but he would never tolerate him defiling his family.
With that final thought, Malfoy sent him flying across the room with an explosion of his wand. Callously he left without even surveying his damage…
