It was a normal day on Olympus.
Zeus and Poseidon debating which was worse air or sea disasters. Apollo and Hermes were planning a prank on Artemis, who was busy shooting just around a marble bust Hera. Ares and Hades were talking about the deaths that war caused whether it was good or bad while Hephaestus sat on his throne tinkering, occasionally commenting and causing loud noises to echo throughout the throne room. Hera watched over the whole room sighing dramatically and complaining to a not listening Zeus about how imperfect their family was. Suddenly a large bright light flashed in the middle of the room, silencing the gods.
Percy, Annabeth, Grover, Thalia, Nico, Clarisse, the Stolls, Katie, Chris, Leo, Jason, Piper, Frank, and Hazel, Appeared in a jumbled heap on the floor.
"Get off my face death breath!"
"Well, I'm sorry pinecone head!"
"Travis, move your foot away from my face!"
"I would but Annie is sitting on my leg."
"DON'T CALL ME ANNIE!"
"Okay. annie."
"WHEN I GET TO MY KNIFE YOU'RE GOING TO GET IT STOLL!"
Before a fight could break out Lady Hestia stepped in from her noticed place by the firepit. "Come now demigods, disentangle yourselves and let's all sit down and figure out what's going on. There's no use fighting" she said in a warm kindly voice and, with a wave of her hand, she summoned sofas and armchairs with enough seats for everyone to be comfortable.
The demigods got up off each other and sat down, the soothing sound of her voice and Hestia's presence made it hard to be angry.
"Soooooo," Leo said, "which god teleported us here?"
The gods looked around at each other, confused, they could all see on each other's faces that every single one of them was just as unsure as the others.
"I do not believe it was any of us child."
" then who-" Apollo started, but he was interrupted by a book, falling on his head.
Hermes started to laugh but son stopped when four more books and a note landed on top of his head. Apollo started snickering but was quickly quietened (say that five times fast!) by a glare from Artemis.
"Stop this tomfoolery brother.' she said and grabbed the books and note from the two gods.
"'Dear demigods gods satyrs and anyone else who cares to listen,' she read from the note.'we think it would be a good idea for you to read these books about Percy Jackson son of Poseidon, (also we're bored and think it will be funny.) You will not be able to leave until you have finished reading the books. No time will pass while you are reading. You are not allowed to kill, maim, vaporize, or injure ANYONE while you are reading. Accommodations and food will be provided.
