We were outside in a big field
We were outside in a big field. They were playing around, trying to catch each other, like they were really fighting. I was sitting next to Alice on the ground when it was Edward's turn to catch Jasper.
"Come on Japer, you're better at it than he is." Alice whispered.
"I heard that!" Edward yelled.
She giggled.
"Come and get me Edward." Jasper said, not even moving.
Edward ran at him and then suddenly stopped. He was grinning like and idiot, looking a little bubbly. Jasper was grinning too, but his was more of a triumphant smile.
Alice giggled again.
I suddenly realized what was going on.
Edward shook his head sideways and returned to his normal facial expression. "That's not fair."
"And neither is the fact that you can read minds, so you'd always know my next move. I'm just using my, in Emmett's words, super awesome emotion changing power."
I giggled at that one.
Edward smiled and said, "Touché."
Emmett yelled, "That is the best name for your power!"
Everyone laughed as Jasper and Edward pinned Emmett to the ground.
"That's not fair!" Emmett yelled. "I wasn't even playing!"
