Don't give me too much hell; this is the first and maybe last thing I ever write. It would be great if you guys could give me some advice on how to do something like this, so without further a-do, here ya go!

Usually, it was the lights that bothered him the most. They were so bright 'Why would a bar need bright lights?!' But he still went to it; the nostalgia was the main hit for him. Now a days, he's just here, alone, no one really comes around here anymore, unless they need him, or to get, as Yang would put it, Qrow'd up with him. Qrow would slump back into the wooden chair, he'd already moved around trying to find a comfortable spot in it for the past hour, but alas, Qrow found the one spot for him. The bartender across from him would be cleaning out one of the four glasses surrounding Qrow, giving out a huff before speaking "You know, I'm grateful that you're paying my taxes and all…But if you keep this up it'll kill ya." Qrow would look up, tracing the rim of the glass with his finger for quite some time "Good." He'd finally mutter, "Nothing else has worked so far..." The bartender would look at Qrow, his face seemed emotionless "What happened kid? What happened to the old Branwen that walked in here with a smile on his face and not..Well. . This?" The bartender would look at Qrow, the dead eyes studying the man, and then would put on a fake smile "You mean one of these?" And at that exact moment, one of the glasses on Qrow's little island fell off; the bartender would just remain silent, glancing down at the very noticeable mess. "Qrow, I just want you to be happy, you know that." He'd look back at the young man in-front of him, giving him a sad smile "I'm going to take this out back, can you keep look-out for me?" Qrow would give the elderly man a nod, before he took off with the glass magically floating next to him. Qrow would take a deep gulp of the last drink full, finishing it off. `I think it tasted better the first five times. ` He was clearly foggy at the mind now, from all the drinks he had, he'd just look around, holding that one glass he had just finished. Minutes felt like hours, and Qrow was starting to get agitated, even though the man hasn't even been gone for 2 minutes. `Who does he think he is? Help? Isn't that what a good drink is for anyway? Even these aren't all that great...Mediocre at best. ` Qrow has been coming to this exact bar, almost every day, for the past 20 years, and that same man was always across the counter, when the times were at best, they'd laugh together, and when things were at their worst, like it is now, there'd be some sort of silence in the building, that the two have come accustomed to over the years. He sighed, maybe he was right, and maybe he did come here a little bit too often, but what else did he have left? A sister that leaves everything in life and has no commitment but to herself and would even sacrifice her family? A best-friend, that probably hates him now, because he took his daughter out on the most dangerous hike through anima? Or is it the fact that he got his wife, and Qrow's best friend, buried 6 feet under? The only thing he really has left to be happy for is his niece's, well at least one of them. He'd put his head down on the counter, Ruby, it seemed like she could make almost anyone's hate fade away, he knows that there are still so many people out to get her, and there always will be from now on, but if there is one thing he can do for Tai and Summer, he'll protect her with his life, even if it means making some sacrifices, like being poisoned by a scorpion Faunus,. He'd wince just thinking about; the scar will never fade away, and could possibly still be deadly, a re-opened wound is just as deadly as a never closed one. Just as he would be getting deeper and deeper into thought, the sound of a door creaking and soft foot-steps creeping up on him made him turn listen even closer. Qrow could hear them, getting closer and closer, until they spoke up. "Ex-Excuse me." He'd turn around to see a small kid, with black hair and green eyes, fidgeting in-front of him "Ya' Know I don't think they allow kids in here, pipsqueak." Qrow would say, looking down at the small boy, and to Qrow's surprise, he'd say something he thought was way too familiar "Shut up, I'm getting there." The boy would say, and with this one phrase, Qrow was far more intrigued than he was before, and after a moment of silence, he'd start off, looking back up at Qrow "Umm..I'm suppose to tell you..I'd like my c-cane back?" Qrow's suspicion was correct, as he'd dissect everything in a matter of minutes, before giving off his first true smile in a long time before passing the cane onto the small body "It's good to see you again, Oz."

That's it, thanks for reading this, and if you could, leave a review, have a good one!
