A/N: I watched the last episode of Lewis ('What Lies Tangled') the other day and was inspired. Hope you enjoy it :)

Just A Small Bomb
Sherlock listened with half and ear to John's admonishments as they made their way up the stairs to 221B. A feat made easier by the fact that his hearing was still affected by the bomb blast he'd been caught in.
He suppressed a grimace as he accidentally used his sprained wrist to open the door.
"I can only imagine what Molly will say when she finds out," John commented, following him inside.
Sherlock felt himself relax as the woman in question came into view and he turned to face John with a smug grin. "Well, why don't you ask her?" Sherlock asked.
Unfortunately, his momentary distraction meant he missed Molly's irate expression and he was taken completely unawares as she punched him in the shoulder.
"Ow!"
John suppressed a grin at the look on Sherlock's face as he turned to face the visibly fuming Molly, "What was that for?" he demanded indignantly.
"For putting yourself in harm's way," she informed him, before punching him in the shoulder again, "and that is for the message you left."
Sherlock looked confused, "What was wrong with it?"
"I'm ok," Molly parroted in a passable impression of Sherlock, "it was only a small bomb."
"It was only a small bomb," Sherlock grumbled with a touch of petulance as he rubbed his shoulder.
John covered his laugh with a cough as Molly threw her hands up in the air in exasperation, his amusement faded as she narrowed her eyes at him.
"I, uh, think I should go and…go," John said, backing away and making a hasty exit before she could encompass him in her anger.
Sherlock watched him go with a slight frown at his betrayal, before he noticed Molly take a seat on the couch with a heavy sigh.
"I didn't know what to think when I got your message," she said softly, "and then you didn't answer when I tried to call you back."
Sherlock looked a trifle guilty, "My hearing was affected in the blast," he explained, taking a tentative step towards her, "John assures me that it will pass." He paused, "He also took pains to assure me that I'm a complete idiot and pointed out all the flaws in my actions this afternoon."
"Good."
Sherlock frowned a little at her response, until she looked up. The fear and concern he could see etched in her face formed a much harsher rebuke to his reckless actions than the hour long lecture he'd received from John.
"I'm sorry, Molly," he said quietly.
"I know," she said just as quietly.
"It won't happen again," he added.
Molly snorted a little in amusement, "Liar."
Heartened by her response, Sherlock deemed it safe enough to join her on the couch, "Well, I'll at least be more careful," he amended.
Molly giggled a little in response before eyeing him in concern, "Are you sure you're ok?"
"Positive," Sherlock replied firmly, putting his arm around her and pulling her against him when she still looked doubtful.
An action that the bruised muscles in his shoulder protested against but it was a small price to pay if it would allay some of Molly's fears.
