A new threat

This was part of a bet and the first in a series of crossovers involving my OC characters. When something dark arises in Equestria, the mane six must team up to take it down, which may or may not be possible. An antagonist who isn't even trying and protagonists who are, the story will be filled with one guy messing with these ponies, in semi violent ways, like mass murder.

A pillar of fire rose through the night sky, a bright green flame. The forest was covered in a neon green tint. The clouds whirled and thunder clapped. The coming of an ancient dragon diety was marked by an event like this. The coming of a diety with a thirst for destruction and a lust for death, a diety aptly named, Ares.

The day was bright the birds were chirping and everything was just all dandy, two ponies were walking through the forest, a yellow one and a purple one.

"I-I think it came from, there," The yellow pony stopped and backed up as the purple one continued. "Twilight, I, maybe you should, not, go over-" BOOM! Birds scattered and trees bent. Smoke was blocking the path, a reddish smoke.

"Yawn, where the hell am I? Everythings so bright, HELLO?!" A booming voice rattled the forest. The yellow pony was no where to be seen.

"Hello? Who is there, and what are you doing to the forest?" Twilight questioned, timidly.

"There was a squirrel, I don't like squirrels. Who are you?" The smoke parted, there stood a humanoid figure, red skinned and with, reptillian like atributes, a tail, some spikes, and a snout.

"I-I'm Twilight Sparkle, what are you?" She began backing away slowly.

"A god, yah know, normal stuff,"

"What are you saying, "A god"? Just tell me what you are and what you are doing here?!"

"Ooohh, is some one getting scared, Hahahaha, good,"

"Just stay back!"

"Say, where is the nearest town, I'm kinda hungry, and curious of where I am,"

"Why would I tell you?!" Twilight was now fearing for her life, what ever this thing was, she does NOT want to see what happens when it gets close.

"Didn't you have a friend along with you? What if that, friend, burnt?"

"You won't hurt Fluttershy!" She tilted her head down and aimed her horn right at his chest and fired a bolt of magic. He flicked it away like a fly. "What...?"

"HA! LOOK AT YOUR FACE! Oh yeah, by the way, my name is Ares, spread the word of your imminent demise, hehe,"

Twilight bolted out of the forest as fast as she could, she needed to warn the princess of this guy.
