The first time she saw the mark was when she was watching him practice. He was thinking hard. There was a loud bang sound. Looking up from her book, she saw the tree he was practicing on had fallen. Turning to him, she saw it.

His eyes slowly opened. Looking straight into hers. She griped his hand and he griped hers.
