Hi! I'm just trying out some villain perspectives. Please R&R!

Disclaimer: Please...don't tempt me

Somewhere down in her crime blackened heart lays a soul. Now, I don't know how humane that scrap is, but its there. She was someone beyond the thick grease paint and terrifying red smiles. She was…human.

It was almost as if she was drugged. She was like a lost puppy: always running back to her master, even after he would beat and abuse her. Her demeanor was that of a child (when she wasn't on one of her murdering rampages, of course). She was all smiles and so blissfully ignorant of reality. She didn't – couldn't realize what she was falling into: a dark, bottomless pit.

I bet that she couldn't get out, even if she wanted to. She was in too deep. The Joker had her wrapped around his grimy, bloodstained fingers. He was killing her spirit with bruises; her soul with blood; her smile with toxins. I was constantly reaching out to her, but it seemed as if she wouldn't be able to find the strength to grab my hand.

I know that it might not seem this way, but if I could save her, I would. I would swoop in and lead her away from the storms and slaughter of this life. I would take care of her. She would safe, this I swear.

She didn't deserve this life. Once, she had had a stable job and a future. She had been kind, compassionate, and most of all: understanding. She had been a licensed therapist, after all! But it only takes a small push to fall into push to fall into madness as her "Pudding" says, and she had been given a large shove.

She was more than just Harley Quinn. She was Harleen Quinzel, as well. Everyday a little more of true identity chips away, leaving behind an unstable monster. But I will try. I will try to help her—save her even when it seems like a pointless effort. This is what I, Selina Kyle, promise. And I pray to God that I keep it.

BTW: Selina Kyle is an still a thief in this and still works with Harley and Ivy. Thanks for reading!
