E/O Drabble Challenge, wow: forever.
Summary: Sometimes the gap between knowing what's right and doing it becomes so huge that falling seems easier than crossing it.
A/N: Speaking of forever: Guess who's forever grateful that a friend of mine introduced me to this beautiful community more than six years ago and that it never stopped to intrigue me due to the warm, encouraging and inspiring e-mails we got each and every week. Thank you, Enkidu and Onyx, for leading our growing group of dedicated minions up to here and beyond It's been incredible fun to play (not that I'm going to stop any time soon).
It's just another night.
It's just another eternity.
He can't sleep.
The darkness haunts him.
Not the darkness of the world. The darkness that's lurking inside him.
The things he's done. The things that have been done to him.
He feels like he's breaking apart.
Torn between "Never" and "Forever".
Because as hard as he might try: He can never trust himself again.
And as painful as it is: He is forever damned to love his brother more than anything on this screwed planet.
And he has no fucking idea how he is supposed to protect his brother from himself.
