HALLOWEEN
Time Set: late Season 1, after singularity, and before the end of Season 2.
Summary: Janet and Cassie are at the Supermarket a few months after the adoption, Cassie asks who Halloween is.

"So what would you like to try for your dinner tonight?"
Janet smiled at her adopted daughter as they walked round the supermarket, Cassie holding onto the side of the trolley as they go down a food aisle.
"Um" she thinks to her self "what was that thing called that I had yesterday?" She thinks for a moment "it was round and flat!"
"You mean a pizza?" Janet looks surprised at the alien girls' meal choice "are you sure you don't want to try something new like this? She picks up a pack of frozen chicken shapes "having pizza every day will get boring honey; you need to try new things"
I know…. Cassie sighed as they turned "but I don't know if I'm going to like the new… "She suddenly stops dead in her tracks; eyes wide open like she had seen a ghost.
"Cass, honey you o.k." Janet noticed the stiffness in her daughters body "Cassandra, is everything o.k.?" She placed a re-assuring hand on her daughters shoulder, bringing her back into the real world. What are they doing here? She points to a dark figure hanging on a shelf before running to hide behind Janet. "I've seen them before on Hanka".
Janet inched closer to what Cassie was pointing at and smiled gently, and motioned the fearful pre-teen forward. "Cassie, I think now might be a good time to explain one of our yearly celebrations here on earth that involves dressing up and going to parties".
Cassie took a closer look at the outfit hanging on the shelf, "it won't hurt like the Goa'uld?"
Janet smiled at her daughter who was learning quickly "no honey Halloween as we call it is just a funny way to celebrate the history of the dead and mythological creatures.
With that Cassie hugged Janet after being assured by her mother, and they continued on with their shopping for the evening meal.
