Tenchi took another swig from the bottle. There were no musical voices with him. It was dead silent. They were all gone. Every single one of them was gone. It hurt his chest, tightened his heart if he thought too much about it. But on quite night like this he would pull out the sake and drink to their memory. He was depressed, every part of his house reminds him of the wonderful women who had their lives cut short.
Washu, She was gone in a flash. The lab had exploded like normal but when her head didn▓t appear to say she was all right they knew something was wrong. They found her with large pieces of metal imbedded in her body. They mourned for the loss of the galaxy▓s greatest genius.
Kiyone and Mihoshi were next. They both died at the same time. They were told the hazards of their jobs before and they knew what they were getting in too. It seemed their numbers were up as Mihoshi took a bullet to the chest and Kiyone took one to the head in a shot out.
Ayeka was the next one to fall. She caught a cold, one that just wouldn▓t go away try what she might she just couldn▓t get better. It was decided that she and Sasami would go back and come back when Ayeka was better. They never returned. They found out later that one the way home Ayeka infected Sasami and both of them were bed ridden. Ayeka died shortly after arriving home Sasami lived for two more months.
Ryoko was the next. She died in a shot out with Nagi. She fought valiantly until the end. Tenchi held her slowly dying form. He whispered his love for her and pleaded for her to live. She smiled sadly and said she couldn▓t, the only person who could fix her up right was long gone. Tenchi leaned over and kissed Ryoko▓s lips.
The Sake did nothing but he wasn▓t going to kill himself over their deaths. He would wait for his time. He would take the place of his grandfather and take care of the shrine; he would grow up, grow old, and died a normal death. He made this decision as he took the last swig of the sake.
