No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service
Toph and Zuko stood, staring down the No-shirt-no-shoes-no-service sign, hoping that if they glared long enough somehow it would disappear. After a good five minutes of Zuko glaring at the sign, and Toph glaring the wrong direction, they both sighed and sat down against the glass wall of the ice cream store.
"I'm hot." Toph complained.
"I know." Zuko replied.
"I still want ice cream."
"I know."
"Why can't we have ice cream?"
"Because I have no shirt and you have no shoes."
"…give me your shoes."
"Why…?"
"Well I'm not giving you my shirt."
Zuko sighed and slipped off his shoes, handing them to Toph. "You know you won't be able to see." He stated.
"I'll manage," she said, as she slipped on one of his shoes. "You have huge feet, you know that?"
Zuko chuckled. "Good luck." He said as he watched her stumble to the door. "I want strawberry." He added as she finally managed to get the door open.
She gave him a thumbs-up as she slowly walked into the store.
Zuko sat and waited for her in the blazing heat. He got off the ground and walked over to a nearby bench, waiting for Toph to come back with their ice cream.
A few minutes later Toph emerged from the store. "Where'd you go, Princess?"
"Over here," Zuko replied, "Where's the ice cream?" He asked, noticing her empty hands.
"I couldn't find the counter." She answered plainly, kicking off Zuko's large shoes. "And plus, I realized we have no money."
Zuko slapped his forehead, "Well, what now?"
Toph thought for a moment. "Wanna get some ice cream?" She asked, a grin forming on her face.
"Huh?"

Toph smiled, licking her chocolate ice cream as she and Zuko sat on the park bench.
Zuko wiped strawberry ice cream off of his face with his sleeve. "I still can't believe we raided an ice cream shop." He said in between licks.
She laughed. "That was pretty fun, wasn't it?" She said.
He nodded, chuckling. "What's Katara gonna say?"
Toph's signature smirk made its way across her face.
"She doesn't have to know."
