Chapter one: 4 weeks old

Alice was throwing up every morning and night. This wasn't normal for her. I was concerned for her. She never got ill. She had a good immune system. Thanks to her parents taking to her to houses that had virus running around. Sounds strange right? But her parents wanted her to get a virus and become an immune to it. It worked. Why didn't they use potions? Because Alice's father was a muggle and a no nonsense man. He didn't like using magic unless he had to. And this was one of the cases. So Alice had had chicken pox, measles, German measles, you name them, all of them. She got cold every now and again but that was it.

I was starting to get worried about my wife at this point. It was not normal for her. We had been married 10 years. We had been trying for a baby ever since but we were told by a healer that it was going to hard to conceive because Alice was having problems. We lost a baby girl 32 weeks into Alice's pregnancy. We named her Eliza Rose. I would think that this was morning sickness but I didn't want to get my hopes up.

"Alice, you should really see a healer, sweetheart" I told her, pulling her face away as she was sick again.

"I know I should. Will you take me?" Alice asked me, looking at me and I saw she had been crying and her brown eyes were puffy. I smiled, cradling and soothing her face and kissing her cheek. She always said I had good patience with her.

We were waiting for about half an hour when our family healer called us in. "Mr and Mrs Longbottom, would you come this way?"

It was true. Alice was pregnant. I was nervous and full of fear. I didn't want Alice to go through another miscarriage. We were excited as well, very excited. This baby was made with love.

There is a word I haven't used I found it hard to put in, so I will try and put it in the next update thanks for reading.
