Aaaaand… It's gone! Daniel said, and when he opened his hand, the little coin wasn't there anymore. He was the greatest magician of all time, and he was only seven years old. The little girl who was sitting right next to him was paralyzed, but after a couple of seconds, she started to laugh. A bright, high-pitched laugh that immediately made Atlas smile.

Do it again! the little girl said, her big, grey eyes full of expectation.

Are you serious? It's the third time! he replied, even though he already knew he could have never say no to her.

One more time, please she begged in her 5-year-old stubbornness.

Okay, but just one more time, and because you're my best friend he answered leaving her side and standing up.

Now… Look at my hands. There's nothing, right? he asked, and the other child nodded furiously. He slowly moved them in circle, and her eyes kept following his movements.

And that's your mistake, my friend. I feel something... and when he opened his palm, a little, golden necklace appeared. The chainlet was thin and light, and a little daisy and a leaf were dangling from it. The little girl touched her own neck, and she started to scream right after.

Danny! Give it to me, it's mine! .

Catch me, if you can! he replied as he began to run. The girl was after him, but his legs were longer, and he was so fast she couldn't keep up with him. The two kids were laughing and screaming, when a male voice interrupted them.

Daisy! Come on, it's time to go he said, and the girl immediately stopped her run. She reached him, and he took her in his arms. They were increadibly similar, the same round face, the same merry eyes. Daniel followed her, and the man smiled at him.

Thank you so much Daniel for your help. I hope Daisy didn't bother you .

She never does he said, and gave the little girl his necklace. When he got closer, the girl put her arms around his neck, holding him tight.

I love you Daniel she murmored...

Daniel... Daniel... Daniel...

Daniel! Merritt hissed in his teeth, waking Atlas up from his trance.

Are you with us, man? It's showtime! Jack said, thrilled because of his come back on the stage.

I'm here, I'm here... Go, I'm right behind you he answered, but the other three knights could tell there was something on his mind, as there always was before a show. Lula and the other two guys let him behind them, ready to leave their audience speechless. Atlas, instead, took a deep breath, as his right hand went inside his shirt. He looked at the little daisy around his neck, and a soft smile cracked his lips.

I do it for you he whispered, as he followed the knights.
