Golden leaves fell gently against the window, making soft little noises and whispering promises of a colder winter. A winter that would nip their noses and turn their ears red. But for now, the two boys were content to laze in their bed, watching terrible day time television and contemplate going out but never actually moving. Although, for a long time, Sasuke had been promising to take Naruto to the Pokemon Centre. Their entire lives had been spent in some part of Japan or another, but living there was different to being a tourist, and they had never truly experienced any of it.

"Can we go today, Sassypants?" Naruto grinned, loving the sound of his boyfriends new nickname, "I just want to get a Pikachu doll! And take selfies with you! Pleeeeease?" He pouted, gave the classic puppy dog look, and slid to Sasuke's chest; just so he could complete the look by gazing up at him. The glare on the dark haired man's face had softened at the sweet expression, but Naruto knew ony half the battle was won. It took a lot to get his partner out of bed in the weather like this; only work, training, and food would pull him away from the comfort.

Before Sasuke could think of a reason to refuse, Naruto continued, "Aaaand we can go for ramen at that place you liiiike. Or somewhere new! We can go for ramen anywhere you want to go! You can choose!" Laying it on thick was the only way to guarantee they would even get out of the house, let alone get to the destinations that the hyper young blond was clamouring after, "I'll go get you coffee and you can decide after that, okay?"

Pattering about the kitchen, Naruto filled his own favourite, special mug with the dark brown liquid. Adding a few sugars, he took in the bittersweet aroma. Just how Sasuke took it, and a surefire way to put some energy in his bones. Stubbing his toe on the same stupid plant he had stubbed his toe on for the past two years, Naruto swore under his breath, shot the plant a look, and continued back to the bedroom.

Seeing Sasuke snuggled under the blanket was almost too much. He looked like a blue-haired fieldmouse. It was unbearably adorable. But, obviously, telling him would result in not only going to the Pokemon centre, but also in never going anywhere ever again. Biting his tongue, the younger boy softly announced, "I bought you coffee, so wake up sleepy bones, you need to sit up to drink it." With a snuffle, a groan and a lot of shuffling, Sasuke finally lifted himself from the comfort of the nest he had created. A grateful smile tugged at his lips as he took the mug, thanking his lover with a kiss.

"Mmn, this is really good. And in your favourite mug, too?" Sasuke's rumbling voice washed over Naruto, and the fox could feel himself brighten, "You must really want to go out today, to have gone to all this trouble." Enthusiastic nodding on the other boys part caused Sasuke to laugh out loud, this kid was too much. Looking contemplative, although Naruto would have gone for 'thinky', Sasuke leaned back and surveyed the room. He sipped his coffee, slowly, savouring the tension rolling off of his boy.

Of course, he had made a decision already. But it was fun to make Naruto wait. The temporary power hold was fun, too. So Sasuke sipped, and thought, and looked, toying with the corner of the blanket; playing with Naruto's fingers; trailing his hands up the others' arms; anything to make the time dwindle until he felt the blond about to burst.

"Okay, okay, we can go..."
