Worried

Frank was working late it had been a busy week. His youngest son, Jamie was at the center of it. A good cop was being harassed because he spoke up against his veteran partner. The officer was labeled a troublemaker and nobody would work with him. Jamie being a fair-minded person he was defended officer. By doing so he got himself into trouble and gotten into a fight. Danny of course defended his brother even if he didn't agree. Then Denny's temper got him into trouble to.

So Frank worried about his kids but he tended to do that tended to worry about them anyway. Denny he worried that his temper but get them to trouble. Frank also worried that his cockiness and thinking he was never wrong with get in trouble to. He worried that Denny will pass off too many people and no one would come to his help one day.

Frank worried that Erin stubbornness and unwillingness to back down or compromise will get her in to trouble. He worried that are on will push too hard or too forceful and it would cost her everything. She gotten herself into some trouble by defending her brother too

With Joe Frank's worst fears came true. Joe was fearless independence and reckless in the end because Joe his life.

His baby boy Jamie Frank thought he wouldn't have to worry about him at all. Jamie was sweet tempered and never lost his cool. Not that Jamie couldn't be just as stubborn as his big sister. He was more reasonable though and willing to compromise. Jamie was confident never cocky and always humble unlike his big brother. He was thoughtful smart and almost never ran off halfcocked. Then his sweet tempered, gentle, honest, and reasonable son got him suspended for a week.

At first I thought it was a onetime thing in a moment of stubbornness and determination. Then Frank spoke to Jamie after Sunday dinner in new that he would do it all over again. Frank had a nagging feeling that he was wrong about his youngest son. Then three days into Jamie suspension Garrett told Frank that he got off early. When Frank asked why he just handed him a report and said:

"Just read this Frank"

As Frank read the reports he found that Jamie explains what happened clearly. He never once blamed the officer he was defending and also made it clear his partner had nothing to do with incident. Jamie apologize for how we handled the situation but not for defending the other officer. He even went as far as suggesting that everyone should get a fair hearing, not just the vets were close to retirement and have a reputation to maintain.

When Frank was done he knew he was truly worried for Jamie but more so for the NYPD. Jamie is going to change the NYPD for the better. Still any kind of change was not going to be easy that would lead Jamie is more trouble. So Frank would worry but not so much because that's Jamie was smart maybe too smart and he was goodhearted. Jamie always listen to his heart and he never backed down when something was not right. Thank you Jamie will always see the gray not just the black and white. That more than anything will change things. Frank had no doubts in his mind that things will change because, Jamie was just as stubborn as a rest the Reagan family and twice as they should. Frank know baby boy would change things and further good to but until then you would always worried.
