A/N: Howdy. Ahh, this is just a little thing I came up with. Y'know it just popped in my mind, so I decided to jot it down. God I really need to learn to write longer stuff. Well exams are coming up, I just got back from vacation, Im in the process of moving, have to catch up on homework that I didnt want to do, and even with all that, I am working on two stories, so hopefully I'll actually finish it and not lose interest, then I'll put them up. :P
Disclaimer: I do not own DeathNote, of course, nor the characters, just dah story.

Matt shifted uncomfortably as he lightly pressed the buttons on his game controller, about glancing to his left every two seconds. Matt focused on the game once again. Concentrating hard. Another snap of chocolate split through the air. Matt glanced to his left again.
"Uh Mello?" Matt said barely a whisper.
"Hmm?"
"What are you doing?"
Mello lowered the bar of chocolate he was eating.
"Matt, were you diagnosed as blind today? I'm obviously eating chocolate." Mello growled taking another snap of his chocolate.
Matt sighed and tried to concentrate on his game while talking to the blonde, "Yeah I know that idiot. But why are you sitting here-"
"I can sit here if I want to Matt. I own this dump. I can do what I want." Mello raised his voice, cutting Matt off, which made Matt frustrated.
"Yeah I know Mello, but you hate sitting here-"
"I love sitting here."
Matt could have slapped his hand across his head, but he kept gaming on, taking out his frustration on the buttons.
"Mello. Let me finish."
Mello stayed quiet.
"Thank you. And as I was saying, you hate watching me play my games. I thought you found them annoying and loud." Matt pointed out, turning his head to stare at Mello.
Mello took another bite of his chocolate, staring at the TV, Matt staring at Mello, completely not paying attention to his game.
"I do," Mello started still watching the TV that had a big red 'Game Over' plastered on the screen. "But I only watch to see you fail." Another snap split through the air.
A/N: Ah, there you go. Short little drabble, thing, for you. Happy birthday.
