Angel: I know. I couldn't wait to post the start of this one though

Cat: Just make sure you finish your other fic

Angel: I probably will

Cat: Probably?

Angel: Yup now do the disclaimer so we can start!

Cat: Angel does not own Yu Yu Hakusho, or Syo

Angel: Yup. Syo's name will come up later (if I continue with this) I heard her name on the TV and decided to use it

Innocent Chapter one

Run Away

In the Makai a chase was in progress. It was the dead of night; three guards are chasing some creature through a forest. The creature was female with long purple hair, purple eyes and tattoos on her body. She was heading for the Makai boundary that separated China and Japan. She was almost there, but so tired. She wasn't going to make it. The guards were gaining fast and she was slowing down. Finally she reached it, the boundary that separated the China Makai and the Japan Makai. She didn't have much spirit energy left from her two days of running. With what she had she created a portal big enough for just herself and jumped through. The guards arrived too late. She was gone, through the portal and onto the other side. The guards came to a halt and stared at the empty space that was once the portal.

"Shes back where she belongs. Koenma can deal with her"

The guards fell back and left.

On the other side however the creature fell out of the portal. She didn't land gracefully like she normally would have. With an audible thud she landed on her front gasping for air. So weak, and yet still alive. She tried to stand and only fell. After a few minutes she was able to push herself off the ground and lean on a tree. Her purple hair swayed in the wind while purple eyes searched for danger. The tattoos on her body gave the illusion that she wore two bracelets on her ankles and wrists, while a third tattoo appeared to be a necklace. Poking out from her ripped tank top were two scars. A puncture wound on her left side that looked as though a weapon had gone right through her body. The other a line that started on her left shoulder and shot down her back to her right side. Her pale blue skin glowed from the moon's reflection as sweat ran down her body. Rest was what she needed, but she couldn't stop. The detectives would be after her soon and she was too weak to fight. On the other hand she was too weak to run. Her legs finally gave out and she landed on the forest floor with a soft thud. While she lay there a thought struck her.

"I didn't do it. So why should I die?"

Angel: Well how was that?

Cat: SHORT!

Angel: -sweat drop- Yeah I know its short. It's supposed to be. It's just a sample. If people review then I might continue.

Cat: Well people you heard her, R&R if you like

Angel: Bye!!
