Ugh! I hate Natsu Dragneel! Wait, I guess I should explain why I want that dense idiot to fall off the face of the earth.
It happened the morning of Homecoming. Our school throws this big party for Homecoming and makes a huge deal out of it. I myself don't really care for dances, but I love to be involved in the committees that arrange the whole thing. So with that little bit of background i'll tell you what happened.
"Lucy, what do you think we should have at Homecoming?" Erza the Homecoming Committees' President asked me the Vice President.
"I think it should be a Shirley Temple dance where the girls have to ask the guys." After i said this I received some weird expressions but Erza was nodding in agreement as she wrote something down on her clipboard.
I sat back in my chair and pulled my notebook closer to my body as I continued sketching my current crush Natsu Dragneel. I knew his reputation but i couldn't help but have a crush on him. At the same time I would never date his type.
"Lucy are you coming?" I jumped at the sound of Erza's voice coming from the doorway.
"Uh… yeah wait up." I replied as i quickly gathered my books and stuffed them into my crowded backpack.
I followed after her as she walked out of the school and to her car.
"Do you need a ride home?" This is so like Erza, always worried about her friends.
"No thanks, i'll be fine." I smiled to her as she pulled away.
As I was walking home I saw Natsu playing soccer on the school fields with the rest of his team. From what I could see our team was winning. I stood for a little bit watching Natsu playing until suddenly instead of seeing his pink spiky hair I was staring into his handsome onyx eyes. He is looking at me and i've been staring at him! I immediately started hurriedly walking away from the soccer field and towards my house, which is a five minute walk from where I am right now. When I reached my house I hurried up to my room and started my homework to get my mind off of Natsu.
When i've finished with my homework I heard a knock at my door.
"Yes?"
"Sweetheart, your friends are here."
"Thanks!"
I roll off my bed and go down the stairs to see Levy and Erza standing in the kitchen with my mom who was filling their arms with drinks and snacks.
"Mom, I think they're good."
"Oh! Sorry." She apologized and put everything away and left the room.
"Hey girls!"
"Hello Lucy" Erza greeted.
"Hey Lu-chan!" Levy squealed and hugged me.
