Tippity taptap tippity tap...
The pittering of the rain on Celia's window and rooftop fell in almost a hypnotizing fashion. Tip tip tappity tip tip tap... She sighed and turned on her desk lamp. There was so much to do before the morning. Why was the use in trying to sleep, anyway?
Her desk was filled with an array of clutter. Her opened dresser drawers overflowed with sheets and sheets of crumpled paper, and messes were spread across her bedroom floor like blankets on a bed. Taptap tippity tiptap... Grunting, Celia pushed aside garbage her desk to make herself a clear space for writing.
What in the world could she say to all of them? All she could truely say is what they already knew. That battling those poor creatures against eachother for money and prizes was wrong. That nature and moral code was strongly against it. That millions of animals died each year in result of poor training and harsh opponents.
That pointless violence was overtaking the world.
But would they listen to her? Probably not. She would merely be pushed aside as a fundamentalist tree-hugging maniac that didn't truely know what she was talking about. Taptap tippity tap...
Lightning ripped across the sky in a brilliant stream of light, and Celia leaned back in her swivel chair. 'There's really nothing I can do to change things but do my part, I guess.' She thought. A quiet purring ushered up from under her bed, and yellow eyes stared up from the darkness, reflecting the lamp light. Celia patted her thigh, and Meowth leaped up into her lap, purr intensening as she stroked it's fur.
"Mimi, I couldn't imagine sending you into battle..." Mimi mewed softly, making Celia smile and scratch her ears. "I just love you too much for something like that!"
She sighed once again and let Mimi out of her lap. Back to her speech.
She hoped it would be good.

A/N: Okay. The end!~
I always thought it might be interesting to do a story on a Pokemon Rights Activist! :)
