What is it with me and making Bobby go crazy? This is the second one like this that I've written. I apologize if it is majorly OOC. Please RR.

Alex Eames knocked on the door of her partner's apartment. When no answer came, she slowly turned the knob and entered. The place was completely dark making it hard to see. She flipped the lightswitch, but there was no light. All the lightbulbs were missing from their sockets.

As she entered further into the dark apartment, things just kept getting weirder and weirder. All the windows were covered with something shiny, which on closer inspection proved to be aluminum foil. Things were really starting to become strange. Eames wasn't sure she was in the right apartment. Bobby would never act like this.

Suddenly, she was hit in the back of her head, instantly falling to the floor.

"Who are you?" Came a familiar voice.

She went to get up, but was roughly shoved back down. "Bobby?" she asked, since she couldn't exactly be sure by his voice alone.

"How do you know my name?"

Eames felt a weight on her back. Bobby was straddling her, keeping her pinned to the floor. His hand wrapped around the back of her neck. "I—I" she choked out. "It's me, Alex. Remember me?"

Alex? That name clicked in his mind. Alex! Oh my God, what am I doing? It's Alex. I don't want to hurt her.

Another voice responded within his mind. No. She's one of them. She's trying to kill you. You can't trust her. You can't trust anyone.

"No!" he yelled. The hand around Eames' neck squeezed tighter.

"Bobby. Bobby listen to me." She tried in vain to get through to him. "I know you're in there somewhere. Let me go and I'll help you."

He shook his head, "You're one of them. You've come to kill me. I won't listen to you!"

Alex! The sane part of his mind screamed. He had to fight it; Eames' life depended on it. I won't let you hurt her!

Awww, isn't it sweet, little Bobby Goren has a weakness. The insane part of his mind taunted, giving an evil-sounding cackle. You must kill her. You must!

"I'm not going to hurt you. Please," she begged. "Let me help you."

"Shut up!" The anger in his voice aimed more at himself that at Eames.

"Please." She sobbed.

Let her go, you're scaring her! Bobby pleaded to himself. His other half replied with a laugh.

Not until she's dead.

I'll never hurt her! NEVER! With all the mental strength he possessed, Bobby gained control of himself.

He got off Eames and ran into his kitchen. Frantically, he fumbled through the drawers until he found a nice, sharp knife. The insanity had to stop before someone got hurt, namely Eames. While still in control, he plunged the knife deep into his heart.

Eames couldn't move. Her limbs felt like lead. Her mind was in a state of shock and confusion. Confused as to what just happened and what was currently happening. Why had Bobby gone off the deep end? Why the sudden change in mind? It wasn't until she heard the scream coming from the kitchen that she knew what was going on.

Bobby Goren had lost the battle with his inner demons.

I encourage you to go read my other story 'Shattered'. It's in the R section. It's a bit like this, but involves Nicole Wallace. Thanks.
