It is storming badly at the Phantomhive Mansion. Fae is in her big chair that use to belong to her father, the chair is way to big for just her but she don't mind. It's a perfect spot to unwind with a good book in front of the fire. Tonight is a perfect example, Sebastian comes in with a nice hot cup of hot chocolate. She smiles and sits up closing the book, he smiles as well. Meyrin is visiting some friends she made in town, Finny turned in early as he wasn't feeling well, and Baldroy is taking care of Finny for the night. Tanaka is resting upstairs with tea as well as a good book of his own.
"Hi my love" says Fae
"Hi kitten, I brought you some hot chocolate." says Sebastian
"Mmm. Sounds wonderful." says Fae, accepting the cup
"How is it?" asks Sebastian
"Wonderful as always, thank you Sebastian" says Fae
"You're welcome, Lady Fae. Will there be anything else tonight, before I go on to clean from dinner?" asks Sebastian
"No. Actually… That can wait. Could you.. Could you stay please. there's plenty of room here on this chair." says Fae, shyly
"Are you sure that's what you want, doll?" asks Sebastian
"Positive" says Fae
"Alright" says Sebastian, with a smile.
He picks her up gently and lays her on his lap. He holds her close and she snuggles in, he fixes the blanket around her to help her stay warm. He picks up the book and look at the title it's a classic.
"I love this story" says Sebastian
"Really?" asks Fae
"Yes, it's a classic." says Sebastian
They sit down and read the story and start on the second book in this classic series. Half way through the book, Fae yawns tired. She looks up at Sebastian with sleepy eyes and cuddles in.
"Bedtime, kitten?" asks Sebastian
"Mmm, yeah. But can we stay here. Please? I just want to listen to the rain and uhhh…." starts Fae, blushing and trying to find her words.
"Hmm?" says Sebastian, confused
"That" says Fae, pointing at his chest.
"My heart?" asks Sebastian
"Y-yeah." confirms Fae
"If that is your wish Lady Fae." says Sebastian
"Really?" asks Fae, surprised
"Really" says Sebastian, with a smile. He finds her shyness very enduring and adorable.
She smiles and kisses his cheek before snuggling into his comfortable chest. Listening to soothing beat of his heart, closing her eyes.
"I love you, Sebastian" she says with a yawn
Sebastian smiles and leans down kissing her forehead.
"And I you" says Sebastian
It's not long before his calm heartbeat pulls her into a deep sleep.
"Sleep tight my beautiful kitten." says Sebastian, before he too falls asleep holding her close.
