Poupu Fruit

Sora sat on the dock holding a poupu fruit.He wondered if he would share it with anybody.Riku sat near him gazing at the sea which was sparkling in the afternoon sunlight."Riku?"Sora asked.Riku looked at him,a smile tugging at his mouth."Do you think the legend of the poupu fruit is true?"Riku shrugged."I don't know."Sora looked at him then looked over to the sea,the breeze making the water dance a silent dance.Riku stared at him questioningly and looked back at the water.

The legend said the one you split the poupu fruit with is the one who shares your destiny.But who would he,Sora,share his destiny with?He looked around him,surveying the place he lived.Destiny Islands.Peaceful,beautiful,calming.It was like a mini-paradise.But he wouldn't share his destiny with anyone here.Everyone here was like a sibling to him.Well,except Riku.He was more of a friend.But not a sibling.

Sora gazed at Riku for a moment and noticed his hair was slightly tangled from the breeze.Without knowing what he was doing,he ran his hand through Riku's hair.Riku glanced at him but didn't say anything.Sora thought he saw a slight blush and smirked.He turned Riku's head towards him and smirked even more.Reaching out,Sora pinched Riku's cheeks.

"What are you doing?"asked Riku.Sora shook his head."Dunno.Pinching your cheeks?"Riku raised an eyebrow and pinched Sora's cheeks.Sora snorted and chuckled.He let go and picked up the poupu fruit and looked at it while Riku let go and stared at the star-shaped fruit.Suddenly Sora broke it in half,handing one of the pieces to Riku.Riku looked at it and finally popped it in his mouth and Sora did the same.He looked at Sora who smiled.Sora wrapped his arms around Riku's waist and rested his head on Riku's shoulder.Riku put his arm around Sora's shoulders.

Meanwhile in the bushes near the dock,Kairi was watching them along with Selphie."Look at the lovebirds."snickered Selphie.Kairi smiled.They chuckled and snuck away.
