Jake watched as Lilly Truscott got pushed up against the lockers by some of the more popular crowd. He also saw Lilly's two best friends Miley, and Oliver trying to help but just getting pushed up against the lockers also.
When Amber raised a fist to hit Lilly that's when Jake stepped in. "Leave her alone" he said. Amber gave him a shocked look and dropped Lilly to the ground. The other kids who had been holding Miley and Oliver dropped them.
"Thanks Jake, but aren't you afriad that hanging with us is gonna ruin your rep" Lilly asked in a sarcastic voice. Jake smiled. "No your more importanat then my dumb rep" he said. Lilly grinned a little.
"Jake we really gotta get going" Miley said, while holiding Oliver's hand. They had finnaly told each other how they felt, with a little help from Lilly. "Yeah, Jake, here call me" Lilly said and quickly wrote her number on his hand and ran off.
Jake smiled as he looked down at his hand. He laughed a little then went home, eager to call Lilly, and hopefully build up the courage to tell her how he really felt about her. After Jake got home that night, he sent a text to Lilly.
Meet me at the beach in about 15 minutes-Jake. Jake smiled as he read the text and hit send. "I really hope she feels the same" he mumbled to himself before walking off to the beach.
Jake smiled when he saw Lilly sitting on the bench near the beach. "Lilly before you ask why your here I have something really important to tell you" Jake blurted out. Lilly smiled and slowley nodded, waiting for him to contunine.
"I'm completely and tottaly in love with you" Jake said with a half grin on his face. He closed his eyes and waited to hear the sounds of Lilly walking off, but they never came. He opened his eyes to see Lilly standing there with a smile on her face.
"I'm in love with you too Jake" Lilly finnaly said. Jake's grin got 10 times bigger. "YES" he yelled. Lilly laughed and stood on her toes, because he was a little taller then her, and brought their lips togther.
"Woah" Jake mumbled after Lilly had pulled away. "Good Woah?" Lilly asked. Jake just nodded and brought his lips back toghter with Lilly's. "I'm really glad I came to the beach tonight" Lilly said as Jake held her in his arms.
"I'm really glad you came too" Jake said. "I gotta go home now Jake but i'll see you tommorrow at school?" Lilly asked. Jake smiled and nodded. Lilly ran off and Jake started to walk home.
THE NEXT DAY AT SCHOOL
"Jake what are you doing with HER" Ashley asked. "I love her" Jake said, as he was walking down the hallway, next to Miley, Oliver, and holding hands with Lilly. "EW Jake" Amber said while giving Lilly a scowl.
Jake gave Lilly a smile and squeezed her hand and walked off down the hallway, leaving a very confused Amber and Ashley behind them.
