La vie en rose, a fairy tail fanfic

It was a quiet night in the city, team natsu just completed a job and are getting ready to head back tommorow.

All is well exept for one sleepless girl, her name is wendy.

"gray-san are you awake? I can't sleep."

''Yeah i'm awake why can't you sleep?" the boy asked "well I don't know, could you maybe sing me a lullaby"

''Sure just let me get something. Go ahead and return to your room i'll be right there"

Gray entered Wendy and Erza's room carrying what looked to be a small ukulele with silver edges and a dark wood material. He went closer and sat on Wendy's bed. The girl looked at him with a sense of serendipity and delight as he started strumming and singing the lyrics.

As he finished singing he set down the ukulele and looked at the sky dragon slayer who was fast asleep. With a small chuckle and a smirk he excited the room and let her sleep tight.

The next day as they entered their beloved home and guild hall everything was casual. But Wendy couldn't take her eyes of a certain ice mage. As she finally took up enough courage and went over to him.

"Gray can you please teach me how to play that song?" She whispered in his ear. "Okay, sure" He replied.

two weeks later Mira walked into the guild ready to set everything up for the day but paused as she heard two voices ad two instruments being strummed. She quietly went inside and made sure she wasn't noticed as she heard one voice say "let's run through it one more time." She wondered who that voice belonged to.
