I love writing for the episode "To Grandmother's House We Go". I know that this doesn't really focus on the characters themselves so much, but I thought it would be fun to explain where they got the toy bunny for Levi that he was given at the end of the episode.

For the readers of "Revived", chapter fifteen is still in the works. Don't worry - it will be coming soon!

In the meantime, please read and review. As part of the planning for the twelve days of Christmas, I am presenting a second question (first was on chapter fourteen of "Revived"). This time the question is - Who would you like to see volunteering to help children write letters to Santa Claus? Whoever is mentioned most in the comments will be the character that I write into that scenario!

Enjoy!

The teenage clerk's eye brows shot up as she heard the raised voices over in the pet toy area. It was a slow day, so she was able to listen in on the loud dialogue without distractions.

"Where is the bunny toy?" It was a lady's voice.

Probably out shopping for a toy poodle, Marissa the clerk surmised. So many ladies had those little yappers.

"Why did I have to come along for this?" A man was complaining.

Probably the unlucky husband or boyfriend forced to come along for the shopping trip.

"You're the one funding this award ceremony, you need to come along. You're credit card won't work without you."

Probably a boyfriend then. I feel sympathy for him.

"I'd give you cash."

Definitely a good man then!

"Just shut up and help me find a rabbit toy for Levi."

"How am I supposed to help? The thing that he has now is a rag. I don't know what it used to look like! And why don't we just get him a ball? He'll be happy with that and we can go."

"He'll be much happier with a bunny!"

Dog people! That is why I have a cat. Cats are so much nicer!

"Here it is!"

Dog lady must have found a rabbit.

"Wait. This isn't the right one."

"Lucy, it's a rabbit! Why won't this one work?"

"It doesn't squeak!"

The dialogue went on for another five minutes before a triumphant exclamation and a squeak alerted Marissa to the fact that her customers had found what they were looking for - but then….

"Myles, do you think that it has the same squeak"

"YES!"

The two finally emerged from the aisle. The African American lady held a fluffy bunny squeaky toy. Behind her came a flustered gentleman who meekly handed over his credit card as Marissa swiped the bar code.

"Oh, do you do giftwrap?"

Crazy lady! NO! Never have I ever … had a lady ask for giftwrap on a dog toy before this!

"No, ma'am."

"Lucy, we can pick up a gift bag somewhere else. I'm done for the day. Let's go."

Smart man.

"Oh, okay." The strange couple were just exiting when Marissa's manager walked over.

"Hey, Rissa. What are you thinking?"

Marissa waited until the door closed behind the two shoppers.

"Just that there are some strange people in the world - and dog lovers are the strangest!"
